The Euterria are doing well, growing like weeds
The burnt leaves from the led and cold Temps we’ve been having are mostly gone or buried under the fresh new healthy growth, ill go through and clean them up at a later date.

The very bottom right plant is one of the 2 original Romulan survivors.

Envious.

I only go to the beach around here when I’m looking for medical waste.

Ewwwwwwww :face_vomiting:

They are definately pristine around here, this one is 90km of gravel road from the nearest small town, one of the best kept secrets

I kid a little bit but that beach is much nicer than mine.

Good for beach fires… but we have a pretty much endless supply of seasoned Douglas Fir (the best woodstove firewood there is btw) at home

Should BC take the Greenland philosophy towards promoting the province? Rather than Beautiful British Columbia we change it to Contaminated British Columbia :joy:

I’m down… the Contaminated coast

I know it’s just a joke but it makes me want to cry.

I used to have the sweetest secret spot. 10k brutal hike into the middle of nowhere.

Then it was discovered. Then it was filled with trash. Old grills, pots, pans, coolers, anything morons didn’t realize they didn’t want to pack out.

The last time I was there there were wardens and the spot was about as wild as a parking lot.

Very sad. There’s nowhere left around here.

Now we rent cottages. Which is still nice. But I’m still burned up over my old secret spot getting ruined.

That happens in alot of beautiful places in BC as well.
Ignorant self entitled stupid idiots, leave all there shit behind in the most beautiful sacred spots.
Not too mention the biohazardous “homeless” camps… /Rant over.

Yeah man.

On one of my last visits there this group of 6 arrived after dark and tried to start a fire by chopping down and stripping a LIVE pine tree. I saw the evidence the next morning.

And they looked at me like I’m an asshole for ruining their solitude.

Yea, all the beaches closer to towns are trashed and busy. I’ve got a few “secret spots” I cherish

Ok I take it back, I too have seen dumps of garbage in the back country of BC. Can’t imagine the mentality of someone who does that. Let’s keep British Columbia Beautiful, everyone from OG can visit but THAT’S IT!
