Not everybody enjoyed his genetics also
I would recommend black candyland, but not much else

I know what youāre saying - thereās a lot of āmodern geneticsā that are being bred for the looks (mostly), while the effects have taken a back seat. Iāve grown plenty of flowers that are dripping white with resin, but donāt produce the Euphoric effects (could be high in CBD though) Iām looking for.
Itās actually sad, a lot of todayās breeders are chasing the āflavor of the dayā, focusing on the way it looks (yeah, itās like weed pornography - they want to post sexy pictures), and once you see those sexy pics, youāre more likely to buy their seeds. ā¦Fast forward, you grow them out, and youāre left wondering why you didnāt get high (but it looks Awesome).
Iām also seeing breeders focusing on strains that are suited for LED lights - mostly Indica - (so, forget about serious Sativas: Haze, Thai, South American Colombian Gold, Acapulco Gold, Mexican Sativa, African, Thailand, Nepalese, Vietnamese, etc.) - these SATIVA strains need High Intensity Lighting - Metal Halide and/or High Pressure Sodium lights (LEDs just donāt have the power these plants need).
With all that said, J.O.T.I. is one of the original players in the seed biz; he has some fire genetics. I know the newer hybrids heās working with have passed the potency test. His whole catalog gives you a great assortment, from old school to some new school; of course, there are some exceptions.
As a Farmer, I know there are strains were you need to do some hunting to find the desirable traits. Take for Example the Tom Hill Haze strain: this breeder specifically states that about 5% will be an extraordinary specimen, while some specimens may produce little to NO effects (DUDS). Doing the math, that means 1 out of 20 will be a nice Tom Hill Hazeā¦others, not so nice, and finally some may be complete total duds. Not many breeders say that as part of the description - you know thereās integrity with Tom Hill genetics, as he states that up front.
As for J.O.T.I. - Iāve seen the scales tip on the āvery goodā side; leaving some ānot so goodā as the outliers. As for strains that have ābangā - itās subjective and personal preference. Some peeps like the ābangā of a Northern Lights indica for relaxation, while others want a ābangā of Super Silver Haze for its uplifting effects. At least with J.O.T.I. strains, youāre getting quality genetics - perhaps not the original parents, but very good parents. I give J.O.T.I. two thumbs up!!

Is the Blackberry used by Joti the same as Blackberry kush clone we have here in the states (the one cannaventure has s1ās of)? I would like to try to joti but I honestly couldnāt stand our Blackberry ākushā by itself or crossed out was extremely lack luster in all departments.
