Rice dried out too much so it was a little hard and not as much growth but should be some in there. Mixed with brown sugar.
It’s time for more labs anyways so I’ll get more Rice this time and not use a cardboard box and try again.
I’ll also hunt some local imo soon.

They should be. They have the whole back yard too(obviously not as good) but pick every little sprout that pops up, hopefully we get some good weeds, but not looking like it.

They sure are! I used to let mine run around in the garden just before planting in the spring. Even mulched with seedy hay one year. Not a weed in sight, hardly any weeding all season. I would have sworn they made a mistake and it was straw, except there was one square foot I fenced the chickens out of to protect a perennial and it grew a fountain of wheat.
I really miss having chickens, but not allowed here & no way to sneak.

Man I found a great pile of imo in my alley. My foot just sank in this area. I had already sprinkled some living soil but gonna collect this too. Can’t wait to see it.
