Kind Led 750 for $500

Hey all, I have a chance to get a Kind Led for almost 1/3 the price from my step father. He said he’d sell it to me for $500 and only used it for 1 veg cycle last year.
Anyone use or have any knowledge about this light? I was looking at them and debated between them and the Platinum led’s that I now have.

Personally know nothing about them…BUT 500 bucks buys you all manner of light on the DIY side of things.
I would investigate that if I had 500 bucks to use for lighting.

Just a suggestion after seeing what ToastyJake’s got for his $$$$

These are top notch lights and I like the way you can program them from early morning sunrise, right to sunset. The price tag on these lights are $1300 but I can get it for 500… I’m thinking of picking it up for my ol’ man, but not sure…Hoping there is someone around here that has used them.

If you are picking them up to do your favor, try them out and see…

If not then as Jetdro stated, you can get a better bang for your buck with solstrips.

You should ask @Baudelaire (I think he is the solstrip guy) what you could get for your $500 going the solstrip route…

Yeah, I’m not looking to put a bunch of stuff together. This is a hell of a deal, so just looking for someone who uses them. There has to be someone lol

Didn’t your dad use it?

Well I mean if you’re looking for easy sure $500 for a $1500 light is a good enough bargain I guess. I’ve not had experience with them but I find the problems with these small package high wattage LED lights is coverage. Gotta have the light way up to use that light efficiently around the edges of the grow space but you know this.

The core coverage is 4x4, which is perfect, cause I’ll get him a 4x4 tent to go with it.
Step father says it runs to hot, that’s because he had no inline or oscillating fans in there lol. No wonder he fried his plants.

Edit, 18" above canopy, same as my Platinum leds

I won a Kind 750xl in a facebook giveaway a few months ago…I am amazed how well this light works…I just finished a grow and things worked out very well. It’s a bit big and heavy for a grow tent. I think 500.00 is a good price!

Thank you for the response. Yes they are big and heavy. I had him turn it on and I manhandled it a bit.
That’s what I’m saying about the price, he bought it for $1300 and used it for 2 months of veg time, to veg his outdoor only.
