I try not to grow landrace plants under artificial lights. But the caterpillars are bad this year so I’m thinking a glass house might be best

Does anyone have eastern manipuir/burma? It seems it’s out of stock anywhere I look.
I’m looking for something similar to a line that was lost. It came over as Thai stick to norcal in the second half of the 70’s. It was crossed in the 80’s to something green, faster, wider leaf and that’s the only way I ever saw it. It’s pheno’s would still pop out though. I last saw it in the early 2000’s. those that had it took to growing clones and not popping seeds, and by the time they got back to it they couldn’t get anything to go. It was a very hollow and brittle stem, small plants, low yield. The unique trait was the bud color. It would stand out in a bag, and was the only thing around here that looked like that. They had an almost iridescent blue sheen to them, I’m not sure it was all the bud color, or if the trichomes had something to do with it. Strong and trippy high, could be on the intense/scary spectrum.
The closest I’ve seen is in some pics of the eastern manipur/burma, but if anyone has anything else that they think fits it then I’m interested. It didn’t look like most of the Thai strains I’ve seen but it came out of south east Asia somewhere.

I have a few Ukhrul (Naga) seeds left.

From RSC

[Ukhurl (Naga)]

Genetics: Naga Manipuri Domesticate Landrace
Sourcing: The Real Seed Company, Ukhrul, Manipur, Northeast India, 2020
Purpose: Ganja (seedless or lightly seeded buds)
Latitude: 25° N
Regional Harvest: December to January
Height: 2 – 5 metres
Characteristics: Intense aromas, mango, cherry, Sativa-type architecture, purple variants, energising
Classification: C. sativa subsp. indica var. himalayensis x C. sativa subsp. indica var. indica
Grow Type: Greenhouse or outdoors

A traditional [ganja domesticate] employed by Naga communities in the highlands of Ukhrul, Manipur for commercial production.

Fields in the Ukhrul region are grown on a very large scale. Most cultivation occurs in the border highlands near Burma (Myanmar), but for the urban markets of India and Bangladesh. Buds are typically allowed by farmers to be heavily seeded.

Despite this crude cultivation method, the Ukhrul strain has definite potential. An experienced grower in the West familiar with modern hybrids such as Haze described the Ukhrul strain as “very strong Sativa smoke, energising, mildly trippy, comes over in waves…. my favourite landrace to-date.” Another noted the “mango, flower, and fruity syrup aroma—a pure delight.”

Traditionally, Cannabis is not a household crop of the Naga, unlike their neighbours such as the Meitei and Bengalis. Naga communities appear to have begun cultivating ganja comparatively recently, in response to increased demand from lowland Indian communities during nineteenth-century economic expansion into Assam.

Compared to Bengali or Manipuri ganja, the crude Naga ganja was thought by the ninteenth-century British to be a “jungle product”. There is a degree of truth to this, in so far as Naga farmers are said to sometimes allow stands of ruderal Cannabis to naturalize in the highlands. By comparison, the more sophisticated methods employed by Meitei ganja farmers would not allow weedy populations to affect cultivated crops. That said, if some Naga fields are crop–weed complexes, this may explain their hardiness and diversity.

Pic is from ace/ India landrace exchange. It is the kind of blue I’m looking for though. I appreciate the offer but at least from that pic it’s not really what I’m trying to hunt down.
