Who makes this cross?

Purple Thai starting to show its fall colors. And a bit of Her Sativa fire in those cones. Room got a bit. Hot before I was able to get the AC up and running so I grabbed an old hurricane fan I had dropped and broke a blade off. Blowing straight up into my hoods. Well the damn thing vibrates and gives a little shake to the Thai and big Gorrila, they are both in the last few weeks and I know my GG4 bulks late, but the Thai buds are taking off…any cause and effect? I was reading on how to pop stubborn seeds with 140 mh vibrations. I do practice putting plants through defensive growing with my water schedule. So this would make some sense, no?

Ok, I’ll bite. How were they doing that? (we are talking MHz right?)
My 1st thought was ultrasonic cleaner tank but that is a much lower freq.

I’m testing out a new variation in watering schedule as well.

Have to look it back up. Was not specifically on cannabis but they were getting 20 % higher rates of germination.

I’m switching down to 2 gallons from 5’s. Really been concentrating on putting them through complete wet to dry cycles. Measuring intake and tracking, wringing the sides of the pots after an hour and not letting any run off set in trays.

Here ya go @Gpaw :
A bit over my head, need to finish some indica for the insomnia …:upside_down_face:

Wow, that was quite the ‘trip down the bunny hole’ especially reading the reference articles - Thanks!

I dropped 3 of the Brutal Monkey Paw beans down, sending a few out to @DesertGrown to run behind me to see if it is as we remember 30-40 years ago. Not sure on the reproduction as it is on the market. I’m sure we could find a nice profile to x it with. If me and Desertgrown do 3 each as testers that leaves me 10 for pheno hunt and seeding. If it is as I remember. my GG4 would be a good candidate to boost THC and bulk and it has a Mild chocolate earthy Taste with a little blackberry back end.

Nice pictures instigator. I have a question for you all. And in particular anyone who has grown Durban before( @lefthandseeds ). I am looking to time the pollination of a 16 to 20 week variety with pollen from a Durban, which will be grown Outdoors naturally. The Kullu is going to be force flowered.

Wait, so what is the question exactly?
When to put plant A into flower to hit plant V at the right moment?

Yes. Exactly. I want to start a couple to finish proper, but am also willilng to start a few separately for pollen. I could store the pollen, but want a near certain chance of pollenation. Probably end of august or so??? Durban would be ready?

I may have some of lefhands Durban finishing in early/mid august for a backup. will save a male if I get one and you need pollen.

Normally plants are starting flower in August out here, so I’m not really sure when he would be throwing pollen. Your best bet is probably light depriving him a little early

Moroccan Beldia and Panama Red went into the “the jungle” to start flowering today. Beldia is are 22”, Reds are 18” two mystery seeds are looking Sativa heavy and keeping up. mTF is bringing up the rear but consistent growth.

So you think august (end) for Durban pollen from naturally flowering plants? Kullu will begin flowering at two weeks age on or about may 21 assuming all goed well… So 3 months into flowering when Durban pollen is available. Seem right to you? Should be good timing if thats the case i would think… you agree?

If you get a chance to save some pollen that would be great! Backups are appreciated! Ur plants are looking good ! Curious to see what you get from the panamas. From Ace?

No problem, Durban just sprouted does around 5 weeks until they get in the flower room. It is @lefthands Triple Durban. Yes the Panama is from Ace, interested in seeing how much it stretches. Beldia are ALL Sativa, May need all 8’ of ceiling space…:open_mouth:

@lefthandseeds Durban does sound great!

My panama went to flower at 18". Finished 4ft to 5 ft or so. 3-4 times stretch. Those Beldia are reaching or the sky eh? How tall?

I topped all from 6 down to 4 at first repot. The Beldia are about 2’ now, I have been using lights to keep them close node spacing. Reds look like nitrogen hogs already. Just repotted to 3’s for the duration (I hope) and took two cuts in the cloner until I sex them. I also switched to a organic mix and trying to find a sweet spot. So used to GG4 and having to train plants that it’s hard for me to do LITFA…

You got it brother, have a quarantine in the loft set up with a 6’ x 6’ South facing picture window. Plan on holding some of the better males to breed against some of the Myriad of strains waiting in the “green room”

Looks like we have a control group on the Brutal Monkey Paw. I have three in sprout, @DesertGrown and @Pawsfodocaws each have three beans on the way. We should have a few weeks gap between grows. Me and Desertgrown have sampled the “Original” 35 years ago. GLG’s page Brutal Paw
