Landrace Expansion & Trade

I mean, if you want to test that statement I have some Goroka Highlands x Mango Thai that should take the better portion of a year to finish. I have a couple seedlings a week or two old, and I’m tempted to abandon ship already. lmao.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:…I’m still scared of anything over 80 days…I get an attitude when they hang around too long…like the sister-in-law that was only gonna crash for a week…

Diggy…

A year??:flushed:

You either have the patience of a Saint or are a glutton for punishment! LMAO

I’ve learned I need patience and time to grow proper sativas…but in all honesty; that time frame is shocking!

What sparked that? Who convinced you? That’s gotta be some amazing herb!?

Idk, I have not run them yet.
Azure finished his Goroka in 29 weeks from germination iirc, and Comacus said his Mango Thai was taking longer than his Colombian Black that took six months.
I only started 3 Mango Thai seeds and got three males, so I haven’t the pleasure yet, but I can attest to a six month minimum commitment on the Goroka side of the gene pool.

They’re both lines that have been grown for decades in one country specifically for export to another. I don’t know the men growing them on location, but I trust that they wouldn’t be moving it thousands of miles if it wasn’t turning a profit.

Damn Diggy! Now, I’m gonna do the math here. So, 52 weeks in a year. That means 29 weeks times 7 days in a week right? Okay then that’s a shitload of days. You multiply that by by my impatience and divide it by my obsessive compulsive disorder and you get a total of “No fucking way!” I’m down for some Nevil’s Haze if I can find some quality seeds. I got low humidity and it might frost a 2-5 nights a year, usually in January.

Don’t forget to add 3weeks for change over to 12/12…:rofl::rofl:

Running two freebie seeds, Superglue x Nevilles Haze right now. Maybe two weeks old. Not sure if Todd McCormick has pure nevilles, but he has a bunch of crosses with it, including;

I was gifted 5 of Todd’s seeds from a friend who ordered a few strains. Todd sent 3 packs of the ON or OH to him for being patient I think. So I’m stoked but it was an open pollination project so low chances of finding gold in 5 seeds. I think it’ll be slick just to be able to try. I’ll go look for them. Seems like it’s the ON. That was really nice of my buddy @webeblzr!

Thanks my OGeez! Nevil’s Haze is like a fable to me. I never thought I would have the chance at it back in the 90’s when I saw my first High Times. I probably will go seed to flower after the equinox.

I agree, my med is GG4 has been for 6 years. 30+ all day long but a lot of people in today’s market find it a dull and boring buz although strong. It’s a plant that can express a lot of its lineage (an orgy of cousins) depending on when you chop it and how and how long you cure it. From Diesel to Chem to Molcha with a blackberry back, my personal favorite. Taken a bit to the amber side around 75 days. If you want chem, diesel and an once less take her at recommended 64. The buz changes along with both chop and cure too…racy early, more mellow later.

Hey webe, Thank you again bro. I better soak a couple today myself. Is it the ON or OH? Just says haze x 5 on the vial. I’ll go back and look. If I get any males I’ll do my best to get the pollen or clone. Are you going to 12/12 right away or going to veg it a little?

Have you ever checked out the Mr. Nice auction site? Site is no longer available - go to mrnice.nl They’ve got 2 auctions for Nevil’s Haze running right now. The prices are great. I’ve won 6 auctions over the last couple of weeks, and I’m averaging 72% off their direct price.

Lmfao, you’re averaging 72% off!?
Looking reeeeal close at that Ortega running right now.

Ortega’s one of the strains I picked up along with NL5 x Skunk, NL5 x Haze, Critical Mass, Mango Widow, and Super Silver Haze. I got all 6 strains for $126.31 plus whatever shipping is. The SSH by itself is $130. The Ortega was $17.67 :grinning: I’m grooving on it hard man.

I want Black Window really bad but I keep getting shut out on it.

What is the linage of the ON Haze?
I’m finding nothing. (probably looking under the wrong rock again)
It looks like Authentic Genetics splooged that ON pollen on most everything they had!
Good scores @Guitarzan!!

Whenever I look up lineages I google search “nevilles haze seedfinder”
“Ortega seedfinder,”
“white widow seedfinder.”
They’re not always accurate, but seedfinder seems to be the closest in general.

Nevilles haze is (Haze x (NL5xHaze)) iirc

That is a good tip; always adding ‘seedfinder’ - better than the way I do it.
I still have a small problem sorting out the Genealogy section, but I’ll get there. Their info is far more detailed and precise than Leafly.
I do like the Linage section of Leafly though. I feel like Tarzan swinging up different branches of a family tree (as they link the pages).

That Ortega did look rather interesting…
