Sharp punto rojo. @motaco. So far the ones that came labeled as Pheno Gold #2 red dot are the sharpest. along with the gold #1. although the pheno gold #1 are really small.
When you have seeds that will germinate and stop right after putting out the taproot it’s because they’ve spent their reserve of nutrients meant for starting the next season on staying alive. Using a solution of 5:2 humic acid to kelp with h2o2 should fix that problem in a big way.
In case you don’t see the comment with this I’ll respond directly. The first time I tried the 5:2 humic acid to kelp was with seeds that I was getting about 5% germination. After using it with h2o2 and a couple other tricks I was seeing 100%.
nepal kadmandu. Shiv recommended it as an extremely powerful variety, it seems to me that the strong radiation of the sun in Santiago de Chile is making those NLD leaves express themselves. Beautiful Nepalese Kadmandu, I love its red stems.
157 days of flowering under 11/13 on this Squirrel Tail from seed collected by @Tlander . It starts out as this little tower of calyx and then fattens up as it gets taller.
Big fans long since burnt up but it still doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any.
Nice bro! Yep, my fans all faded early too! I never took mine this far, too many other things to occupy my days! Really happy to see you succeed with them and ‘indoor’ to! Now that 'm starting to harvest some of the Sativa’s I think I’m gonna be able to get over my disappointment at the smaller bud size and just enjoy the highs! Thanks for growing & posting these bro!
Speaking of more plants I dropped 4 of @upstate oaxacan and I dropped 4 of @GregOG Red Skunk 18 which is (Washington skunk x ufs18) × red devil! They’ll be moving to oapertowel tomorrow night.
Lol solid advice Mystery Oaxaca, yes? Dad could be And likely is Oaxaca…but Lambsbread, Ilaqai Nasal or Turkish are also possible. Seeds do look pure though. I’m looking forward to seeing if they are. I have a pile. @Budderton looks like you found an NFT…never finish Thai🤣. I took one to thirty five weeks over the summer and it never finished. I was thinking to myself when it was over that I should have dropped the light cycle down to ten hours on to help it ripen. I used twelve twelve the whole time. Looks like you have the same predicament I had. Other plants mixed in with it that may not enjoy a lower on cycle.
First photo is a couple males. 2nd photo was a hermie unfortunately, just fed to the chickens.
Next 2 photos are miss Red, with pretty red spots at the leaf base…followed by big girl and finally my early favorite…a really cool bush pheno. Smelly plants.
@Rastafarout Hey nice to see you here. Welcome to OG. I have some of your Lesotho and Transkei beans to get into at some point😁. Looking forward to that! Nice to know you see some resemblance to Malawi. This whole portion of the African continent is new turf for me. I have an idea of what to expect based on history, movement of people’s and trade networks, but no idea if that idea is right or not yet, LOL… I’m trying to stay ahead of the plants getting rootbound to keep these from turning on me. @ybd pointed out to me the extra big root system, perhaps inherited from a dry area strain long ago. He has had some hermaphrodite issues himself with these in small pots and thinks maybe a bigger pot would help. I agree with him, so that’s what I’m doing. But i’m risking ending up with some massive plants this round. I kind of love not knowing what to expect. These are beautiful plants and I can’t wait to see some flowers.
That short bush pheno reminds me of Swazi Red bush pheno. I always thought that phenotype came from the Arabic traders and now i’m seeing it hundreds and hundreds of miles away in another area known to have been visited by Arabs frequently and for a number of centuries. Pretty cool.
Hey all, this is a bit of a cross-post but I wanted everybody to be aware of the direct-to-consumer shipping effort that is picking up in California by small craft farmers, they could use all the support they can get - please check out > www.FreeCraftCannabis.com
