Landraces and heirloom (Part 1)

Sorry @IKEA22 . Saw your question, meant to answer but got distracted. Yep, pretty much a bunch of fox tails, close together. I pulled that cola apart for a closer look at its structure.

Looks primordial.

The long flowers, Aruka Valley, Squirrel Tail, and Columbia Gold all shared that type of structure. Wild and loose.

This is a common Satie structure. Seen in Colombians too.

at “The Landrance Team” have a Black Tuna and may more landrace/heirloom strains- just found it by accident, they have many Jamaican, thai, ect (genetics from all over the world) africa, south asia,ect-- there are a few of their genetics that I’m going to get. - at any rate tired of all the crazy strain now a days - did a Malawi and Malwai x Panama - what great plant –
forget the hybrids and now a day don’t care about long flower times GLad I found this thread

Bad feeling about this for Thai landraces.

Strain hunters left a bad taste in my mouth a while back not for the exploration and hunting down exotic varieties, but the part where they introduce polyhybrid modern stuff into some of those areas that don’t have USA or Dutch genetics incorporated.

I love some modern varieties depending but some of the best effects and unique cannabinoids at least in my case with my body chemistry always come from landrace/heirloom strains, not just bred for high THC or yield.

Have a good day yall!

If you collect a “pure “ landrace and then introduce hybrid genetics to pollute the native landrace, you have effectively made yourself the only person to possess that pure landrace. Pretty sneaky. :smirk:

Shit(caca) based logic angling for money and control. Psycho business plan, what makes it so pathetic is they know what they are doing and that’s not ok. Didn’t same thing happen back in the US when they blended the Mexican, Central and S. America with northern genetics to improve yields. BAD idea with no sound logic and it destroyed the uniqueness of the IBLs! Yea real scumbag move, I give thumbs down on those turd buckets. Una mierda! Thanks for posting, @mexcurandero420

Ojo, hay caca en el pasto
