lavender is the same one used in his lavender og. When I grew it in the past it was more of a sweet skunky purple tasting weed. The name is more descriptive of it’s appearance as most plants get a mix of greens and lavender colors to the nugs when finishing.

With the little bit of research ive had time to do. It looks like the fees are quite lower when using a service like western union rather the a bank to do a bank transfer. Looks like its probably gonna come in around 310. Which, due to the awesome OG members participating and the few extra dollars they each have sent it looks like we will have enough funds to handle it. Maybe even a few dollars left over to donate to the OG server fund.

They are available in both regs and feminized. Can I ask why people wouldn’t want a seed that’s guaranteed female without having my head bit off?? 
You can still hit one with the pollen from another strain and create reg seeds. Is it just preference??

Well for one the goal is to preserve the strain and you need regs to do that and keep it pure. I’m highly against feminized seeds for many reasons but mainly due to the fact that they are missing the alleles from the male and often produce hermaphroditic plants that are a one off from the original.

I understand what you mean though. Its messing with the natural way of the plants life by removing the males from the equation. Being UK we have to grow secretly so feminized seeds is better for us when it comes to production. I try to grow both and I’ve definitely seen a difference in plant growth when I compare regs to fems. Regs grow a lot more vigorous but I think the fem and hermaphrodite link is wrong. I’ve never had a herm from a fem seed before but I certainly have from reg seeds on a few occasions. I’m not trying to cause a debate or argument it’s just from my own personal experiences.
Edit - ah I tell a lie.I grew an afghan #1 from sensi seeds under 12/12 from seed and I found a few seeds in a bud

I’m not experienced at all in breeding, but from what I understand, as soon as you create fem seeds, genetic stability immediately is affected. With hermaphoditism being one of the things that’s common to be affected. And like @Heritagefarms said, once you introduce the feminized pollen, the line is no longer “pure”.
So for just growing, selecting plants to keep perpetuating via clones, or just growing and flowering out plants from seed, a fem plant in a lot of situations may be superior. But for breeding and preservation, reg seeds reign supreme.

You are correct not all fem seeds herm but if they do it’s normally half way threw flower. We’re able to start larger qauntitys over here and just kill the males if there not wanted. If the plant that is being used to create fem seeds has any herm genes they will possibly double up and become dominate. Alot of people have great luck with fem seeds but I like to have a full set of the genes when looking to create more seeds. I have grown about 20 fem seed had 4 hermi and all junk plants minus one m.o.b that was decent. It depends alot on the breeder who makes them and if he tests them or not. As I talk down on fem seeds I have a fem Skywalker, H.S.O.Blackdog, and Florida gold going into testing atm but for projects like this regs are always the way to go.

I appreciate the thought in regards to covering
my portion of the seed purchase but I am happy to contribute my part $ wise. This is a project I have wanted to do for some time and everybody coming together on this is already helping tremendously.
