Hey there guys, I start this topic to know if legalization is a good thing?
Is true than with legalization is worse to produce our weed?
Or is just because Humboldt country example in the U.S.A?
Now we are on the BOOM on Brazil.
But we need to know this a good thing.
We don’t have indica strains and a lot of things than we need to growth indoor and outdoor.
We have small stores who sell products to grow.
But this comes bigger with this couple of years.
So leave your opinion
Overall its great in Canada. There are bad aspects sure, but not going to jail for growing a plant is great. Stigma is about cannabis use is dropping off albeit slowly. Im sure there will be producers that sell shitty weed, but it will get better as they learn how to grow and expand their business.
GREAT AWNSER my dude @TopicalWave , this is what I felling here.
they do a bunch of cowardly things to you for planting weed here. This is the biggest positive aspect here, although our legalization must take place in a legally different way.
The devil is in the details.
It is very evident that legislation in Canada was created to favor the rich. They payed ‘lip service’ to small growers but put up enough barriers to dissuade folks without very deep pockets from considering starting a business.
I suggest you pay close attention to the proposed legislation, perhaps a group of concerned citizens could influence it in positive ways to avoid the worst of the big business pitfalls.
Cheers

Big cigarette companies already have land here in Brazil waiting for legalization to set up all the shit to start their business, they want to outsource the buds to small farmers and producers, this may be our luck in how the legislation is forwarded here.
My biggest fear is the demand for low quality products due to the value of our currency, and the time it will take from decriminization to legalization here.
These large companies scare me, due to our national territorial extension.
Growing marijuana will be a billionaire business here in Brazil.
Cheers to you @Gpaw

It does allow for many stores selling supplies, you can get anything your heart desires, seeds and clones become more available, it is accepted more by the gen pop, there are fewer arrests but they still occur.
Then come in the corporates and get greedy, they want all the money, your country will want taxes out the gazoo, they will try to push the little guys out of business. The more laws come through, the more it screws the little guy in this.
Going legal is a bit of a Catch 22.
The only way legalization is good is when cannabis remains tax free.
No regulation whatsoever.
Freedom.
My two cents, I’m a medical patient here in the recreational state of Illinois. The freedom to smoke up almost anywhere is nice, even if it’s not technically legal. Quality? That’s hard to say… the dispensary has some nice equipment that I never could own to make concentrates and edibles. Flower? Mine is say 4/5 stars while theirs is 3/5. Best I ever found in the street is 3/5 maybe a 4 if I was really liking the strain… what am I saying here? I don’t think quality takes a big hit unless you’re a high-end consumer.
But what do I know? I’m young, dumb, and roll mids for life.
thanks for participating @ChemicalDependant your opnion is welcome
