As a “legacy” grower just north of MD, I say let the dispos have their boom while they can. The cost is ridiculous and the bud is mediocre at best. Every so often you’ll get something that’s worth it, but good luck going back and finding the same strain. Even as a med patient, it was hard to find something that worked and continuously in stock.
I know a few folks that have worked in the licensed MD grow facilities and the conditions are horrid. I highly doubt they’ll get better with the influx of new legal tokers.

YES SIR @Bambam. The excitement of getting away with growing a few plants in your yard is gone. Our little group of hobbyist is growing every year. I just hope it doesn’t become to tarnished by the big money hungry corporations and big headed ego centric Mr Growitalls.
Leave it to me tho to get raided less then a year before legal rec. They destroyed my 5x5 tent and took my lights. I’m glad I didn’t spring for the Grow Light Science PROGROW 320. Got to keep my Blue Lab Combo and 4" Infinity fan. The fact that they took my whole seed library is the only thing that haunts me the most. Received a good bit of seeds from good folks on here. There was no need to take the seeds.
I didn’t have any plants in my tent luckily but they still destroyed it along with my room.
My cousin GF and his father’s GF got to fighting and his dad’s GF moved out and told on his grow plus had to be a bunch of made up stuff cause the raid was over kill with 20 officers, tank with battering ram and a little video R2D2 drone MF’er. My lawer said it was a hell of a spectacle. Don’t remember much (did all the heavy stuff when they made there presents known) other then that they were mad cause they didn’t get much. I had 3 plants outside about to bud and my cousin had 5 bonzi on day 45. All I received was a stet for a year which will be done soon.
Once I get back up and running I’ll post a lil something.

Could have been worse. I’m glad that it happened on a sort of break. Luckily I was up and alert when they showed. Gave me some time to “get ready” lol.

I stopped in Chesapeake Apothecary today & what a bummer that place is. First its tiny, smells like mold/mildew & looks like a converted 2-person dental practice. They want to hold your ID, make you sit in a lobby area for awhile until your “called on”. Haaah
2mins in I said “I don’t have time for this”, got my ID back & bounced. I got a quick look at products & the budtenders and was not impressed. 0 stars out of 5 stars Maryland 
So glad I didn’t make a special trip for that, was already up there on other business.

Just went to a dispensary somewhere around Edgewood with my brother. He had some Headband mini pre-rolls that seemed good for my anxiety. 30 bucks for 5. I thought they were .5g but the case says 1.75g 
.
No product out to look at. Everything was pre-order or done by kiosk. Not exactly what I imagined when dreaming of legal recreation. I don’t mind tho. As long as they keep these dumb prices there will always be a little extra doe to be made to pay for the hobby.

My friend said in Maine medical is cheap. If I felt like it was worth it I wouldn’t have a problem doing it . Some of that last I got from the dispensary wasn’t any good at all .

Man, I need a growing buddy for when I run out between harvests, good thing I moved up to a 5x5, still a far cry from the 8x4, 4x4 and 2x4 I had setup in my old place.

Chem OG…this smells so bad, my neighbors complained even though I grew it inside. We had to fumigate the house after it was done drying and my wife told me if I ever grew this one again, she’d divorce me. Lol

This is a discontinued strain from 2018, but it’s Ethos Chem OG. Actually I think it was their best strain I’ve done of theirs, out of 13 or so. Most are so so with avg buzzes, this one happened to be killer.
My neighbor is a cop, and one night I caught him walking my property with a flashlight around 2am in the morning looking for my outdoor grow. He’s cool though, I told him I was growing 3 plants inside- it was actually 24. Lol I’ve never grown outside on my 1.2 acres, inside personal grows most don’t seem to care, outside it’s a different story.

I’d be afraid you cop neighbor might get a bad progress report and needs to up his performance.
Don’t trust them and never will. My past experiences with them ruined it for the lot of them.
