Ya I haven’t seen just the straight up originals in years, just a shit ton of crosses, that might be a tough find in seed form unless u can get a hold of the peeps that’s surrounded the alien farm

Hit up Thunderfudge if he’s still around. He always had Starfighter packs in the stash from Mike and those guys. I’m sure they won’t be cheap if he hasn’t already sold them off ages ago. F2’s are probably what you’ll be able to find of Starfighter. Those UK folks probably bought up all of the Stardawg original packs. They seem to love it over there.

Have you considered selfing one of the Stardawg cuts out there? I’m not sure they allow that for preservation runs. But the Stardawg Corey and Guava cuts are floating around for reasonable prices.

@Ottafish I messaged ya but the site keeps acting goofy on my end and im not sure if it sent but I got a guy I recently bought clones off of who has some stardawg strains. I’m patiently waiting for his stardawg Corey. He said it’s his all time favorite strain for everything about it and he’s been growing it for 15 years

Ok so if and when you do find a pack of starfighter, those had horrible germination rates and even more so as time went on. I have folks who have popped 10 packs with zero germination, alien grandes, Time bomb, alien warp etc. They even admitted the bad germ rates when releasing them and would give two packs as freebies. Idk great plant if you can get a seed to pop. But yeah man idk good luck obviously.
Crosses galore out there also.

An original release pack will be well over $4-figures. Don’t ask me why I know. 
Your next best bet might be reaching out to ak bean brains. He did a “Bucket List” which is a Starfighter Bx.
I know exotic did a bunch of work with it as well. He had a “The Cube” (which might be harder to find than bucket list)… which is a Starfighter Ix.
(missed the co-op thing… that would be an amazingly well worth preserving project!).

That’s why it would be a great pick to do a seed increase for all the members here on OG to get these genetics replenished for everyone. There’s no sense in holding onto beans just so they become unviable in the refrigerator after about 10 years. I understand how much they mean to a lot of guys though. I don’t blame them for wanting to keep them.
I have lots of genetics I’ve bred and seeds from other breeders I’d be willing to trade. I put up the last of my Blue Moon Rocks seeds for the repro going on now. It’s worth it to me to get fresh seeds back. I’m sure those would have sold for quite a bit too. But I’d rather have seen them get multiplied and shared. I’m glad I did too because those beans were triple bagged and stored in the crisper. They all sprouted but my Sour Bubble I just sprouted only had about 50/50 germination. So they were getting to the end of their viability.

Love the mindset brother! And I agree, sometimes we get so caught up in collecting we forget that we can only store them so long.
