That’s a lot of buggage on your buddage. You’re gonna need more predators. Good luck. I hate dealing with bugs. Specially the dreaded BORG.
Those are gone! pre lady bug days and part of the panic chop mentioned above! @BigMike55
Was just showing how amazingly fast those dudes literally stack up! If I wasn’t so much more into cannabis I could be a bug guy… maybe. Despite how much I hate them they are pretty fascinating. I just wished they’d have given me notice and I’d have made them a separate home of their own… at a buddies house. I’d visit… promise!
I’ve been told that before… They still haven’t shown up for a visit…
You think it might have been sarcasm and they’ll never show? … But I made a cheese log…
@MoBilly Full disclosure. I wouldn’t really visit the bugs either!
Actually when I had spider mites, I bought some ladybugs to try to get rid of SM. They did not seem to take care of my problem. They knocked them back quite a bit tho. Not enough to keep me from disposing of the plant. I talked with the guy at the nursery about this. He told me that, while the ladybugs will eat the bad bugs, the magic really happens after ladybugs make eggs. The larvae eats ten times as much as the adults. So, a place for them to breed, lay eggs, and flourish is actually the best method of using ladybugs.
That’s what he told me, anyways. I have zero experience.
Like this? @BigMike55
This is why, while you will see aphids in my current flower pics, I’m not panicking. It’s not at all an ideal situation but I now have great faith in bud washing after the last run. If it saved most of that harvest, this is a cake walk. I’ll fix it, still love playing with my plants and I’m not gonna let these little dudes get me down. Though my boat appears to be leaking, I’m fairly happy with how this run is going despite still having an issue that really freaked me out when they first showed up. Bright side… I think the aphids ate all the thrips!
Exact-a-mundo. Normally I try to stay away from P0RN. But that’s a thing of beauty, right there. Hehe.
We have Recluses, a lot of them, and I kill every one I can. I have scars from the bites I’ve had to deal with so those are one species of spider that I will not allow to live.
When one gets away before we can kill it my wife just says “Well, we don’t have roaches because they probably get killed by those Recluses”.
I think I hate roaches more than about any bug I have ever dealt with so I agree. lol
I lived in an apartment building that was infested. It was like a bad C grade Horror movie. Since then I can’t stand them.
Not a fan of roaches, myself. In Florida we had a ton of palmetto bugs I think they’re called. Giant roaches that sound like a .22 when ya stomp them and they’re full of custard! Hate those things!
They fly too. Good Ol’ palmetto bugs. Haha
You do go through and smash all those bastards on stems and leaves right? I can’t help myself they bother me so much.
Roaches are why I will never move to a place connected to a city sewer again.
I had to look up Palmetto bugs as i don’t like roaches, we have those here too - just never heard of them called that before. Gonna have to use that term at work tomorrow. At least these aren’t nasty like the German cockroaches, those creep me out.
Well, damn!
I guess I’m starting my own tent city over here. Ran myself outta the spare bathroom. Running out of places to dry the flower I keep finding places to grow. Amazonian prime days to the rescue! I guess it’s a shorter trip to the trim table.
Fred’s mad I won’t let him in this one either.
Very nice looking.
Hey! @Hemp Good to see ya, bud. Hope you’re feeling well. And thank you!
Hey, man? Did you ever get those beans I sent you right before your hiatus? If not I’ll send ya some new stuff, my friend. I haven’t forgotten what a generous package you sent me! Thanks again for that as well! 🪶🪶
I’ll send ya some new stuff anyhow! I just made up some flips and need to get a few things out there.
Yes I have them. I sure appreciate them. I’m going to grow some this fall. I got sick. Then ran into more health problems. I’m doing better. My 3 tents will be packed.
Great! I hope you find something enjoyable in them!
I’ll get you a couple new things out as well.
I saw. I’ve been trying to keep track of ya. Really a rough go there for awhile.
This is always good to hear. I’m happy you’re back on the mend. Slow and steady. You got this, bud!
I appreciate it my friend.
Good morning @NDNCHILD and crew!
