Lower branch buds browning

Hey guys, need a little help on identifying whats going on with this GMO plant. I’m in week 4 of flower, growing in fox farms ocean forest under 200w led. Temps are around 75 degrees and humidity around 40%. I’ve been feeding general hydroponics biothrive bloom. Most of the buds look fine but a couple of the lower branches have weird small dry brown buds. Is this a sign of bud rot? Should I remove these buds?

Ugh. Unfortunately first thing comes to mind is pollen. Look at everything good. Underneath buds for sacs. They havent been getting wet right? Water and light will turn pistils quick too. But lowers redding early id be on the hunt for pollen.

If anything went both ways it will be under the buds dusting mainly lowers.

Yeah, just it will yield a bit lower and you will have to watch for beans.

When it happens to me, I save all the unwanted seeds and then walk train tracks throwing the seeds down into the ditches. Sow it everywhere!

Right on. To prevent this in the future I should be more careful about light leaks or this just happens sometimes?

Some strains are a lot more prone than others. Also depends on what stressors triggered it, light leak is a big one, but anything that stresses a plant can cause it.

Yeah. I do not see any intersex in those pics. Is there seeds forming in the lowers? Sacrifice one thats all brown and looks swollen see if seeds are in it if so there are balls somewhere in the mix. I dont see them in the pic looks straight female. What i meant by water was misting or when hand watering splashes on lowers will burn in light. But node after node going up still makes me think pollen. Its pistils turned not the bud brown and youd see other signs if it was root issue like rot. Sometimes it happens. Mostly genetics in my opinion over other stress factors. Can be hard to find and by the time you find em usually too late. I always keep anything new towards front of my tent and furthest from fans. I watch hard week 2-5. Its not that you did anything wrong just anything you havent run before pay attention to in detail during those weeks.

Could be mites coming up from the soil into your bud sites. Are the hairs completely brown and shrinking? Do they look destroyed? Try taking a pic of the browning but zoomed in.

Kinda early and the buds aren’t that big yet, but watch out for bud rot!

To early for mites or seeds?

Early for bud rot, which usually sets in when the buds are thick

It may be mites they usually start at your lower bud sites and work there way up. They come from within the soil and can sit dormant in soil for awhile and they usually cause some type of chlorosis on the leaves which kind of looks like it in the picture to me. I’m not 100% sure but could be

Spray it with neem lower buds n soil.

Here is what I mean I took the picture and zoomed in a bit.

Not 100% tho

Aloha From Hawaii :call_me_hand:t5:
