Ok, so let me ask you guys this… If I pop 10, take out anything with obvious flaws or traits not reminiscent of Cuban Black Haze, I should do an open pollination of what’s left? Or should I not cull? I will also select for F2 at the same time.

I did an f2 of dirty taxi from Topdawg. My buddy reached out to him about them and some crosses we made.
He just asked us not to sell them as he’s still selling the beans.
Personally I’d just open pollination with everything. It’s a small sample size. My .02 on that.

Pretty sure @Piffcoastfarms also has a Cuban black haze, I grew it directly from them. Super picky clone to grow. I did cross it to the old time moonshine, I could ask JJ but I’m sure he won’t care.

Ok, I feel confident enough that he won’t care. Now, question is, are they preservation worthy, is preservation pointless since they’re somewhat available, and if so, what’s a better haze to seek out a preservation on?

Purple city genetics has the same Cuban black haze as piff coast. If you have a friend in cali

CBH is quite widely circulated now. Now everything in my eyes is preservation worthy Imo.
But as it goes for a haze, I have some of the original release from AG seed CO haze repo from skunk man same. Not sure whats to be found in those.
I could also think of a few others that get passed over and are hard to find. Like a old sensi stock super silver haze.

I never really asked or looked into it as I just was given the CBH. It was a yummy plant. Just always looked angry at me.

I love learning this stuff! I’m a newfound haze lover. Smoking good Strawberry cough and Amnesia have me a little hooked. Here’s what I’m looking for, a top 10 all time Haze that hasn’t had a preservation run and is seemingly difficult to acquire. Does it exist? Is there truly clear differentiation between Amnesia and Amnesia haze? Have they become synonymous and once weren’t?
My only ask would be that the story with the seeds be viable and traceable to trustworthy people that are known in the cannabis community. If you just made some S1’s if a breeder pack, that’s cool too, just need to know the story.
If anyone has some rare beans they’d be willing to trade for a handsome number of beans, I will share my list.

As far as I know, Sensi Seeds lost all their plants long ago. Everything they have now has been “recreated” from new plants. So it’s not the same and not coming back, unless somebody has an old pack of something in the fridge and runs it.
