It’s warm. 81ish day and I’ll guess 75+ at night. Today is much cooler. I don’t climate control my house very much (it’s older and I’m a hillbilly) and I’ve sworn off peak summer indoor grows. This summer my LPC could have gone a couple more weeks but the heat and humidity caused bud rot.
I looked around Google and it may be a sign of low pH? That would track. I’m trying out Jacks and the “Bloom” formula tanked the pH. Like 4.5 low. It was mostly new growth damaged, lots of clawing. I’ve removed most of the damaged leaves as the buds seem ready to rumble.
Still being a bad plant mom. The pump was left off for 24 hours I think and the water smells like nasty. I’m so pissed. I cleaned buckets, h202ed the roots and new water and turned the pump all the way up. Stupid weed being all demanding.
I don’t even know what’s what anymore. I know the manifold trained plant and the other tall girl are jillybean x white widow. The little tall lady is a clone of… let’s say the same jilly bean.
Then there are 4 clones in one pot I’m going to put in the greenhouse. And the bush outside is a sour diesel auto that is taking it’s sweet time.
Got a new cat today. We had to put our fattest cattus down a while back, and “my” cat passed just before we moved last summer. Nice to have a big kitty again. He’s still warming up to everything.
Harvested the experiment clones from the solo cups. They smell like eating garlic candy at the NASCAR track. They are drying now, can’t wait.
Then the others, the calendar says the Jillybean x white widow has 3 weeks left. It’s had a hard grow. I’m learning to train and there was a pH or mg issue? I was trying Jacks, but I think I’ll go back to maxibloom when this is gone.
Harvested the weird autoflower sour diesel x bubble gum. I’m pretty sure this is fox tailing and I don’t like it. I abused this plant every day.
And the calendar says the Jillybean cross will be ready in just over 2 weeks. I’m not opposed to letting it go more. I think I harvest things too early. Both by need and ignorance
Time for the chop! It was a good grow. I’ll for sure try training another plant. The only thing in the tent now is a odd little clone I can’t even remember where it came from, and the scarlet grapes
Lord my buds got mold and I’m pissed.
It was bound to happen to me eventually. And now I know I like to dry my buds CRISPY before I put them in jars.
I remember someone on the forum was making experiments with over drying and rehydrating. They had good results, and I’m going to follow their lead. When these grapes come out of these buckets they will be raisins before I put them in jars
Know the feeling all too well. Two years ago, we chopped a beautiful Super Silver Haze, jarred her, and forgot about her for a couple of days because we were trimming another girl. When I went to burp the jars, I smelled this sour wine smell, and I knew I screwed up. Six 32-ounce jars, wasted. I was sick to my stomach over that one.
