@cdnBuddy can you throw up a link to your thread please when u get a chance ? I’m having issues locating it
Here you go. I’m about 1yr into growing now with Mapito and still learning lots.
Testing my new lights : )
Thankyou @Mr.Sparkle : )
2x100w drivers
First pic both drivers on and dimmed
Second pic only one driver , full power
Third pic both drivers on dim , with one at lowest dim other slightly higher
Looking good. When do you install that bad boy?
Damn I need to make me one looks amazing love that you can dim the light
Might have a rattle at it tomorrow @GramTorino , still abit nervous of led , so I will probably run cmh with it too , and just use only pure led in heatwave of summer etc
My plan as well as keeping heat steady thu out the year , is to try different lights thu out the grow and combos off too for each stage of growth , as I will have led cmh and hps rigged up : )
@Papalag , she was easy to build , my problem was phyco logical as I am afraid of change haha so kept putting it off : )
Bro take the plunge you’ll love them
Fingers crossed : )
Less energy expense less heat for me a win win
@GramTorino , your droks or whatever they called ( wattage use guage type device ) did you get them from China and where do you fit them ? Inbetween dimmer and driver , or between driver and light pannel , I’m assuming from driver to pannel but just checking first : )
You can do it!
Hahahaha , your givin out the payback lol
Someone on OG needs to start just building those bridgelux lights and selling them for a markup lol. I’d buy them if they were still affordable. I have zero patience for things like this.
I have a bunch of solstrips but lately I haven’t been happy with em.
That setup cost just over £200 , I could have made it cheaper using longer strips , but I thought if diode goes out at least it only a small strip to change ( I bought a couple extra )
Plus I got stung for custom charges , but for say £225 I’m well happy and was easy to build even with my heavy handed ness and sausage fingers : )
If you can wire a plug your good to go , only slightly harder thing is doing the LED strips , but mr sparkle has already done all the hard work for us ( respect ) so just following diagrame , and led wires just lock when pushed into holes , can’t get much easier
I used galvanised steel cable tray 30cm or 12 inches wide as my base for strips as was cheap locally
Oh yes…lol
This thread is extra nice, thanks for making this, and please keep showing more mapito.
Also, please link Mr. Sparkle’s diagram you mentioned; I can’t find my way to it.
I wonder if I can make some of those with parts I get from brick and mortar shops or if I have to buy things from the internet…
@Pie , thankyou for droppin by : )
I’m not great on the computor , but maybe someone else could link you to the sparkle mega thread : )
