I have a pack of the atf and two packs of his Tahoe og from him direct and some of the ufs18 from a previous preservation done on here. Interesting as you may find this I do believe you were speaking to the real master Thai. I had spoken with him in the past before and after the death announcement, a lot of what was being posted matches information I know from outside of the forums. He has always been sensitive about people reproducing his lines. Some of what was posted I have heard from him word for word and one thing in particular nobody else would know but him.
Master Thai is dead the man who played him is alive as far as I know, i just checked and he is still listed as living in Tahoe, I brought this up on the rip mt thread , he never said that himself it was announced wrongfully on some internet weed talk show. He said then what he says now that he has shut down and is focusing on the dogs.
In the current market it is hard to understand but his behavior was the norm not that long ago , and the other drama that you mentioned , it had a little more to do with then just a pack of beans but I’m guessing that was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak.
Also should note I’m not taking sides or looking to but wanted to contribute to hopefully clear things up a little for those wondering.
Him and his genetics seem to somehow become a topic every couple for years , I was just thinking about how the Tahoe og seems to have the blue orca in its breeding and then saw all these threads. I’m sorry you chose to preserve a couple strains that led to such conflict, group buys seem to carry some bad luck as they have been historicaly problematic on many different forums.

I’ve come across much more since this happened. And learned so much more about the background of things also. I hold no grudge, or real wonderment on what is the legacy of his is.
I have actually started chats with those in the emerald triangle to try and better understand things, and a lot of important folks just turn a check when the name is mentioned, others tend to give me a awkward look.
All I know is that it made me have a mission to seek out his packs. They’ve come in black, gold, and white bags, the stickers haven’t changed. But there was a large question brought up by whoever towards screening and what was actually contained in the pack, so if he pre screened you then likely hood is you probably got what’s labeled, for all I know I have large packs of heavenly and nothing else.
Either way I wish whoever that was well on their journey and understand the last stand thing. We all fade at some point. And the greatest honor is the little sparks we have left, if someone grabs that and makes a fire.
But no worries on my part at this point @Heritagefarms I’m sure it was a version of him, or even a disciple, but for now I’ve got a thing to get as many packs from folks and grow them out, truly see what was in the packs.

There were a whole series of unhinged threats, rants, and manipulative attempts to Blackmail/coerce being thrown around by that guy. Much of which were kept private.
My review of the guy:

Yeah there was that whole thing, and it has left a lingering taste like pine mouth would, if you ate bad pine nuts. But being a man of excelsior, I take the bumps and bruises, as well as the lessons, and keep on keeping on.
But yes loki did get to see something’s a lot of folks haven’t, and with that, I hope no other folks have to deal with a similar circumstance ever. But if you do, may Gaia watch over you as she has me so far.

Sounds about right , I’ve had some confrontational moments with dude my self but we worked it out. He can have a short fuse and the forums are not the best place for that.
He definitely has some old school genetics worth growing.
@Enjoi802 good luck on hunting his packs there should be quite a few out there. They used to sell them at clubs in grass valley and ukiah. I’m not sure about this screening process you speak of but I did speak to him directly to acquire the packs I have and am sure they are what they are supposed to be. after 2018 a lot less became available that’s the first time I remember the whole I’m not breeding anymore conversations starting. I doubt you have all heavenly but if you find nothing but fruity grapefruit phenos that lean sativa id be suspicious.

This instance was well beyond a confrontational moment. He will not knowingly be allowed back onto this forum.
Personally, based on his grift, I don’t really cares what he has. Plenty of alternate sources. I suggest others to avoid dealing with him unless you have a thing for drama.

Totally understand and agree that type of behavior has no place on the forums.
I’m aware of the type of conversations that were probably had and am sorry you all have had to deal with the negativity.
Reminds me of a time when 90% of weed connects were mentally unstable biker types that were un safe to even be around or acid dropping hippies that would talk your ear off. Things have changed and all types are in the cannabis world now and some don’t mesh well together.

How does this guy keep getting a pass of any kind? Threatening to get lawyers and courts and shit involved is just pre-snitching. That on top of the deranged rants and all the drama.

I wouldn’t say he keeps getting a pass as much as time goes by and people become un aware of how much drama has occurred in the past around this person and his circles. I personally wanted his Tahoe because I have heard many good things about it for a long time and think it would make a good breeding partner for some of the swami lines I have. Who knows if either pack will pop by the time I get to them but my goal is to cross swamis blue orca back cross (zazen) with the Tahoe.
I wonder how many people got lines of his and called it something else or made up some elaborate story about where it came from to avoid these type of issues.
