šŸŒˆ Mastering the Original Haze releases

Question for the haze heads. Do you wait for amber trichomes or just all cloudy? I have a Columbian Black x Haze thatā€™s very close

YES but still alive and kicking
welcome to the better place!
happy to see you here as well
and yes ā€¦ first test already tell what to expectā€¦
Iā€™m really happy with the last efforts Iā€™ll did and itā€™s already better than expected.

all cloudy itā€™s best to meā€¦ amber showā€™s already degeneration and itā€™s not so uplifting if you wait longerā€¦ time is now!
looks superb
well done

I completely agree man and itā€™s not just Haze or sativaā€¦ Cloudy heads equate to peak potency so no offense to you Amber folks but itā€™s degradation. Of course there will always be a few mixed in but the idea of people actively looking for like over 25% Amber doesnā€™t quite excite me. Why not just grow CBD rich strain instead?

Thanks so much

Maybe some people get excited for the narcotic zombie stone that accompanies amber?

hey,
well long long time ago Iā€™ll had a good one ā€¦ in Amsterdam they said it was Marleys favā€¦ loved it and got some Seeds from Underground Seeds ā€¦ will sprout in spring with Wacky Weed (Col.Red), Afropips Malawi and some other gemā€™s Iā€™ll found lately ā€¦ they all get hazedā€¦ and hope to enhance booth sidesā€¦
your Lambsbread looks great for outdoors and hope you can finish properā€¦ tempā€™s are the problem @ the end of those long long flowering ā€¦ but the high/effect is still something specialā€¦ and worth the long waitingā€¦ there is a reason for the good vibes in Marleys music ā€¦ when the Lambsbread was pureā€¦ but as Iā€™ve heard and read there where already some variations of Lambsbread back thanā€¦ reminds me of Zamalā€¦ and Iā€™m sure they are relatedā€¦ there are a few strains that look similar from flower style leafā€™s and grow patternā€¦ like the Punto Rojo too ā€¦ Iā€™ll love the effect of all those slender leaf sativaā€™s and also canā€™t wait to check out Lambsbread now again
thx for sharing

Why worry when other people like to harvest? Its their grow they can harvest clear, cloudy, or amber. Theres no law that says you have to harvest at cloudy last time i checked. Maybe somebody wants there meds for sleep so they cut amber. Or maybe they want a clear energizing effect. You are aware if affects the high right lol? Everyone has there preferences doesnt make it right or wrong

I have little knowledge of the ripening of full Sativas. I like to gain what info i can when i can. Also I like to strike up a bit of conversation before i ask about seeds

My comment wasnt to you, sorry lol. Go with your gut instinct on it man. Just choose your window on effects you want. I take samples to see personally

Point he was making is itā€™s possible to have distinctly different effects depending on ripeness . If you like it zippy go clear but some strains can be too much for most ie jittery , paranoid , canā€™t sit still , heart pounding etc . Cloudy seems to suit most folks & arguably is as potent ( numbers wise ) as it gets . Amber increases the sedative effect which some desire in their meds .
Itā€™s all about selection & your personal taste. Itā€™s also not uncommon for some sativas to ripen from the bottom up . So scope all yer flowers on a plant . Take a sample at various stages to determine what degree of ripeness you prefer . Once figured out one gets their cake & eats it too .

Fully agree.
And have to smile a bit.
When people talk about the heavy body stone they get with amber, i guess most are talking about there experience with Indicas or Hybrids where this is often true.

But Sativas are different, only because you harvest an true Sativa with some amber doesnĀ“t mean you get a knockout stone. I feel there is much confusion about this and i started to do things the way i like, not like forums tell me and can recommend try the same to others.

I agree that why i made my comment about harvesting. Tbh it takes a couple runs anyway to find out when to harvest it according to your preferencesā€¦ Some i like early some i like later. Yes in general we can all agree cloudy/ milky is ideal but there are other things to take into account.

Yeah, itĀ“s even Pheno dependend.
I remember of this one Pheno of A5/Ohz x Ohz, was quite special but freaking scary if harvested to early, particulary the early smoke samples could easy ruin my day by dipping me into a wave of paranoia :scream:
In no way i would harvest this pheno early with clear/cloudy
