Meesh's Garden of Weeden 2022

You and your dad amaze me, lol… It’s so cool.

whoaaaa! that is too cool. it almost looks like thunderdome for plants. lol! two men enter, both men leave… but stoned!

i’m really impressed that your setup can handle windy conditions. i know we’ve had some hella windy conditions in socal just this year. some of my parent’s outdoor tarps and canopies got a little wrecked.

does that rise above your fence line? do your neighbors say anything?

My neighbors mind their own damn business. Believe it or not, you can’t see it if you were just walking by the house. If you didn’t know what you were looking at from the backyard you’d assume it was a green house.

We tied a few EMT pole things onto the top to keep it from sailing. No updrafts from wind to tear it off. It holds up great to heavy wind.

So, I’m still :mask: but the experimental antiviral drugs seem to be helping. I believe I have enough energy to go out and prune a few plants today.

Honestly, this is the worst 4th of July weekend and holiday ever

Well, I managed to prune all of the plants, quite heavily I might add. Not that it matters much, I’ll just have to go at it again next week.

So, Love Fire and GG4ril are very leafy girls. They are gonna be the worst come trim time me thinks. lol The Love Fire has a big scary black jumping spider living in her and it kept freaking me out while I was trying to prune her. lol I’ve gotten considerably less squeamish about bugs since I started gardening, but spiders will make me scream. Just freak me out. I don’t kill them though.

Found 2 baby snails trying to grow on a grape ape leaf. That was a first for me. Never had a snail on my cannabis before. It looked like they hatched there, they were so small.

Managed to break the main stem of the chemdawg. Barely touched it. I splinted it with a drinking straw and some plant twist ties, but it’s too heavy. I’m seriously considering just cutting it off, wondering if it will act as if I topped it there. It was topped like a node above that. It’s super thick. It also may just heal. Looks like where I had topped it grew into a trellis string and it got stuck which sort of weakened the part that flopped, when I went to move it in between the net it broke and I barely handled it at all. Any ideas, Guys? I’ll see if I can get a pic.

The Cindy isn’t disappointing at all. She’s fairly dainty, but after pruning her, I feel like she is gonna be great. Let’s see what she does now that I’ve directed all of her energy to the top of the plant.

I did not however prune any of the plants that I have saved for Ky. I plan to teach him how, when he picks them up, post covid.

Most of you know me by now and prune heavily for massive colas instead of lots of small buds and larf. Others may be shocked by the images they are about to see …

This is the busted chemdawg. Think I should just cut the top off?

aww man, i’m sorry to hear you’re feeling so rough, meesh. let me know if you’re ever too out of it to take care of your plants and i’ll be happy to drop by and help however i can, we’re not that far from one another. i’m still a new grower and learning, but if you can point and grunt, i can do. lol! it seems like you’re okay for now, but the offer always stands.

Bummer! Did the kid give it to you? Hoping yours is mild. Day 6 for me. Still no picnic. Rest, rest, rest.

Mega awesome thread. Love all of the plants documented. Might have to come back and pick your brain on a few.

Great job!

That is the same experience my man is having with it. Lucky dogs! Me? Day 6 and on weird experimental antivirals and still feel fairly laid out. blah I’m having fevers again this morn off and on. Strangely most of my fevers have been day 4 - 6 so far. Go figure. I see now why it’s so dangerous… it’s unpredictable

Also, another symptom I have is my eyes just burn and burn and water. Constantly. Not sure if that’s allergies or Covid, but it’s really lame.
