Michigan Monkey Paw

Status points mean nothing to the people that know you. I can appreciate what you are going through and have been through.

Getting old does suck, but it is better than the alternative.

Looking forward to see what you have happening.

That’s a delicate balancing act alright. Hard to say no, especially this time of year.

It’s been busy around here, lots of new folks adding to the mix. All manner of interesting threads going on…
If you get bored (like that could ever happen :joy:), I’ve got my first co-op happening… OG Kush… yes, the one that went missing…

Cheers

that is something that I am all to familiar with from my muscular condition and old joint injuries. heavy indicas and landraces with some cbd have been helpful with dislocations in my experience.

glad to see you around again.

Sorry, been on a little sabbatical from technology.

I would love to share some memories of the Paw, I grew up in SE MI near Metro. Every year we would get a month or so notice that it was on the way right after the Thai stick. As much as we loved the Thai and it trippy buz the paw was a whole different scene. We learned to just roll pinners cause no matter what when that overripe fruit and caramel smoke multiplied and expanded to a chest heaving cough tho refresh the acrid dense smoke into oxygen again, after three of these we would either stub it out halfway or go gumbie and let it go out on our fingertips as we pondered the euphoric high that made music deeper to the soul, art bright and lively and life in general happy and carefree for a few hours.

Would love to talk about acquiring a cut or two to carry a mother. I have Phenos of the brutal paw that will be isolated next cycle that lean Sativa in 9 and 7 fan leaf, also one more brown(like I remember with yellow/gold trich covered leaves wrapping hard dense popcorn size nugs with close nodes stringing together )

wow, nice description of the MonkeyPaw high @instagator. However. deeper music and art may be due to the nature of either the “vietnamese” or “middleamerican mexican” heritage. Bouth are suspected to be a part of the Monkey Paw.

I feel strongly reminded of Vietnamese when i hear these descriptions you just did.
Thai has the same trippyness, but not as creative if my limited experiences serve me right. Also mexican i assume from all my research to have such tendencies, its very light and creative…

Of course the MonkePaw is told to be hybredized, but with Nepalese and such, so not just an Afghani Hammer… Rather a complimentary Landrace the Nepalese.

I experienced how that creativity is still intact in “pure Gooey - Gooeybreeder” a mix of Thai, Cambod Mexican… It has that spherical feeling like your in Bubbles and spheres of Landraces, but more of a Composition, and a bit of uncomfort from hybridisation, but not nearly as bad as the typical Sativa x Afghani. I can tell i liked it pretty well, and im normally very shy of smoking hybrids…

I didn’t get a pissy smell with my brutal paw f2s-

They started smelling more rotten, but still very fruity-

This is the one I got, she purpled up nasty in the flush! Damn near black. There is a deep earthy funk to her for sure. But there is also an accompanying astringent smell. Like a floor cleaner. Similar to my Saipan Orange 7 when chopped early, but not quite camphor. Hits the back of the nose though. I can’t explain it, but I smell no pineapple piss. Perhaps this is the “impostor” cut floating around. The smell is unique, and the deep funk is worth breeding, even if not the real deal Monkey Paw.

Here are some of all 3 Phenos of the Brutal Paw.

I have a 9 leaf and 7 leaf Sativa Leaners with 3’+ spiraling popcorn size super dense nugs with close nodes starting to foxtail. And below them is a Indica DC leaner with major trich production.

I’ve known Reeferman and C-Ray for years
They had said the MonkeyPaw was from the early days of the Willie project - related but not sisters, more like an aunt.

But I see FWE’s post that says different so I defer to him and his wisdom as he knows his shit and has held the MP forever.

I smoked monkey paw back in the early 80’s.
One hit weed, forget where you are, stop at flashing yellow lights and wait for green, laugh your butt off.
It was one of the best highs I’ve ever had. South Lyon area.
