Hey guys. So the berry freak looks like an ABC but grows bigger like (normal size pot plants). Is that right? 🥸
No, Berry Freak is like Freakshow and Supafreak. Its leaves are pinnate. Completely different than ABC.
Ok. I have freakshow so I know what you are talking about. How long does berryfreak flower ?
Probably 10 weeks. I don’t remember exactly.
unpollinated 75-80 days. pollinated 85-95 - my indoor findings. outdoors i would expect them to be a bit better/earlier.
How tall and big around will that get outside ?
Berry Freak? Mine got about 3’ tall I’m guessing. But I think I put them out late in the season. Can’t remember exactly.
I’d say 36"-60". i was hoping for some more ‘big’ plants but it seems most of the selections were smaller specimen by the original breeder. only seen a couple freaks get real big. i assume all the big ones photographed were all f2s. berryfreak as you have them is at f5 right now, so you shouldn’t see lots of variation as far as height goes.
also apical dominance isn’t super strong on these. i’d say 4 out of 10. they want to bush out more once they get bigger. ‘up’ isn’t really in it’s nature.
Yeah, mine tend to lean slightly in one direction and kick up a leg in the other lol
Any pictures of the berry freak…

Thanks…
I like your F4 mutants , like the fan leaf look, almost like a Supafreak .
@middleman Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to grow these. I decided I wanted to check the ABC out. I cracked five and ended up with one.
Is the ABC a slow growing plant? Is this what you expect at 30 days?
@PineTarBastard
Yes, it’s very slow. That looks about where mine have been at that point.
OK cool. Do you feed lightly?
You can. I just treat them like anything else. They’re pretty tough though.
Did you collect seeds from that plant with awesome leaves on this post: Middleman mutants - ABC crosses and other stuff - #316 by middleman ?
Those leaves were really unique!
I agree with @middleman. The ABC are slow growing plants. I recommend an extended vegging period to allow them to grow their roots out. If provided with an opportunity to expand their roots, they will become huge.
No, those two outdoor were sinsemilla.
