Missouri State Growers

I’ve got rural land near LOZ, that I hope to retire on.

Permits :grimacing:
Reading through the rules for home growing, it looked to me like you must put your outdoor plants in a cage, and out of sight, to protect the innocent.

I would think some early sativa hybrids would do well in the climate there.

Yeah in MO and IL it says it can’t be grown outdoors unless it is hidden from the unaided eye. Whatever that means? But my thoughts are just don’t grow in your backyard if you have neighbors it need to be like a shed or greenhouse you can’t see thru

I had a few plants on my deck all summer and I back up to a road with a lot of traffic, since hemp is legal I don’t think that is easily enforceable. Wouldn’t they have to test it to prove its cannabis and not what’s legally defined as hemp? Has anyone heard about any home grow inspections?

They would have to test my whole front yard this year. It will have all CBD plants! Lol

Exactly!! By the time they get through the front yard they will be so confused they should just leave.

That too. Small Town Midwest make sure you don’t interfere with their circles.

Since this thread is gaining some traction, has anyone growing indoor ever had an inspection?

I’ve talked to some folks out near the Ozarks who’s local PD gives them grief, but I have yet to talk to anybody who’s had a indoor inspection.

The rules for inspection are so vague and seemingly unenforceable. What if I’m not working in town? What if I shut down my grow for the year? What if they come while my lights are off because they quadrupled the rates from 4 to 8pm, so the lights go off before I’m home from work?

Has the government ever actually cared about being inconvenient for us? What happens if you don’t tell them you are growing?

I’m well past that point.

Not being argumentative, but what do you mean? I know at one point you guys got a ton of weed brought in from Oklahoma.

Ive been growing medically for 3 years and I have 2+ left on my lisence. I am long past the point of them not knowing my buissiness, for better and worse…

@JustANobody for me personally. Landlord is ex DEA and sheriff, his son is a sheriff, and the local cops hate me from my sports car I haven’t had in years but they won’t let me live down. They’ve been alright last 2 years but man for a bit they were trying to get me on anything an everything. Left a couch on the curb for 4 hours because someon3 was supposed to pickup and came home to a note on my door stating it was from the police and I had 24 hrs to remove the couch from the curb or face fines. Guess who had a big bonfire that night lmfao! Smack dab in the middle of the city it seems like the cops love to fuck around and find out. Due to all this I won’t be growing outside too much of a risk

That’s so silly, I smoke big cones and wave to the chief as he drives by, it’s not legal here. City’s make people act like silly gooses.

Wild! Don’t ever get on his bad side I guess! Cops around my parts just got nothing better to do. I’ve been threatened multiple times about my vehicles because I momentarily park in my yard to move cars or sell a vehicle but the jeep 4 houses down can park in the middle of the sidewalk smh

Lol ya they don’t do that stuff here. They know the people want to be left alone. The only thing he needs to focus on is speeders in our school zone, and violent crimes, it wouldn’t be tolerated for him to be up in everyone’s business. We have single digit crime rates here.

I live in a pretty violent area. Blue collar dudes growing some weed is the least of their problems here. I do need to get my yard in order because it makes me look like an asshole, but a dude took my fence out with a car 2 years ago and I only recently could afford the tools to remove it.

Fences are EXPENSIVE as hell. Had no idea until I got a quote for one in Texas, needless to say, the new fence never got built.
