Thanks HappyGoLucky21!
I plan to do that at least until I have a better idea of what suits my needs. My experience with strains is extremely limited. That’s why I was asking all the generous people on here to send me this or that. Now I have enough to experience a different smoke every day of the week. Literally, I will be harvesting seven different strains this time and six next run.
That makes me smile.
Hopefully I’ll have my medical needs lined out within the next two runs.

Very nice.
After the accident, music kinda saved my life.
It truly washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

Thank you so much @TheNorthAbides
This is just the ramblings of an old hillbilly brother. I might add, an often stoned old hillbilly.
Your very kind my friend.

Day 23 of flowering! Update time! well, picture time anyway.

Twisted sister has out performed the pampered sister by, probably, 40%. These plants do, indeed, thrive on a certain amount of damage.
Today is watering day. The Critical Kush always goes through her water earlier than the rest.

And here is the White Widow! She must have heard some people (me included) saying she is slow at growing buds because she caught another gear!

As I said, today is watering day. I have been bumping up the nutrients the last week and a half, and I haven’t seen any sign of problems yet. My last runoff ppm’s were within acceptable parameters (1,000 - 1,340) so today will be another feeding. I’m going to be checking the runoff again today.
Well, my friends, that’s about it for now other than it’s obvious that I need to defoliate quite a bit. That’s tomorrow’s project.
Also, I’m glad that I didn’t top or do any training to the Purple Kush. I probably should have done that with all my first grow but was afraid that the stretch would be too much for the room and I wanted the flat canopy. I learned a lot, though, watching the natural growth compared to the modified growth of trained plants. My canopy is all over the place but we knew that would happen with seven different strains and assorted training methods tried.
Once again, I thank you all for hanging around and helping me get a handle on my growing style.
BTW
May you and yours be blessed beyond measure and know that you are.

Your doing fantastic @MoBilly!
Did you learn anything new this grow?
After every grow I try make note of little things that learn. I know that when things run smoothly you don’t run into problems that you learn how to fix.
It’s funny when I have problems I get a little aggravated. But when I don’t have any I kinda wish I had more of a challenge. Lol. Messed up. I know.

Thank you LilJonB!
I learned quite a bit this grow in fact. The major thing I learned was that I can’t rely on my memory to keep things straight any more. My memory used to be like a steel bear trap. Now, not so much. I started out keeping tight records of about every move in the room. Then I got lax at it. That was a bad mistake on my part. They suffered from that. Feeding schedule was off, ppm went high and…
Also, re-calibrate the ppm meter at least once during a grow. Mine was off and nute lock happened. They bounced back but it slowed them down a lot I think.
There’s much more but I plan to put together a lengthy post at the end of the grow. We’ll see how many read a real big post. LOL
Thanks for hanging around my friend.

I use index cards for each strain. I just started. I like to bounce around from strain to strain and I feel like they might be valuable when come back around to them in the future.
I just note on them what works and don’t. When I see the first signs of flowers.

I have a spiral notebook with page markers for the weeks of growth. I just got lazy. I thought I’d be able to just remember such easy things as when and how much feed I did for each plant, (if varies somewhat) Also ppm going in vs ppm coming out…

I was in there to take care of things last night. We have lights off during the day to combat the heat. It helps. But it means I can’t start doing anything in there until after 10. Last night was a full watering and defoliation. Time constraints meant we had to get it done now. We were done at 1.

I took some before and after pics.

I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I catch Ladybugs and other beneficial insects. I was taking some leaves off of my Granddaddy Purple and look who was doing a hunt on the plant.

That is a Grandaddy Long Leg on my Grandaddy Purple. They love to eat little bugs so I’ll bring them in sometimes and Ladybugs. When I see dead Long legs or Ladybugs, I’m pretty sure they did their job because there’s no food for them and they starved.
One other thing. My runoff ppm’s are all down to between 500 and 700. I’ve been bumping up the nutrients some but those numbers look low to me. Shouldn’t they be closer to 1,100? I see no nutrient deficiency but I want them to be getting all they need.

Well there is my short update.
You guys are an awesome crew!

I’m not sure what kind you are using. Fox Farm is almost 2100. They look great. I don’t check mine all the time. But 1500 is where I like to think I’m at during flowering.

If I run a high ppm. I’ll make sure I give them water longer between feeding.

Thanks @anon62804309
The last watering my ppm output was down in the 550-700 range. I am feeding 20% more Big bud, and 25% more Tiger Bloom than the chart recommends.
Those numbers should be higher, I think, and the Critical is showing what looks like nitrogen deficiency. She has a few yellowing leaves. but not just at the tips, all over evenly. Somethings out of wack with her soil. She has not bounced back like the others did from that pH setback.
I water again tonight so I’ll have a better Idea where I set afterwards. Hopefully the #s will be better.

New pictures for your viewing pleasure.
But first, thank you all for the kindness you’ve shown. I’m touched. … Not like needing a shrink (although…). All jokes aside, it meant a lot.

And now. Day one of week five.

So, that’s the look of things as of last night.
This was my unwind for last night. Gelato on the left and CBD Ratio 30:1 on the right. I just LOVE GROWING MY OWN WEED!!!

I’m not going to bore you guys with more pictures for now.
There will be more soon.
Thanks again for the kindness and support.
May you truly be blessed with all your needs and more than a few of your wants.
