Thanks Judsbuds!
Welcome to my grow journal @vinny_verde !
Please feel free to jump in anywhere. We don’t always stick to the subject of growing on this thread but we have fun and growing is the main thing.
I’m glad to have you join in.
Absolutely. I’m working on mine now and I will share. Thanks for letting me in. Looks awesome.
Thank you @vinny_verde . Please tag me in to your thread after it’s up.
Damnit @MoBilly those plants look amazing… if you improve on that… holy Moses!
Impressive… nice work!
Thanks @TheNorthAbides
Marijuana’s a forgiving plant.
Hey all! Time for another update!
First, the group pictures.
And a few small buds.
Skywalker’s killing it!
She’s got some beautiful colors that don’t really show for some reason. Anyway, one more.
OK so, I know some are starting to bulk up. But, for the most part, I believe they could have gotten taller before bulking. I’m OK with that but some, I guess due to strain (or grower errors), should be heavier than they are.
I know, broken record! But again, I’m fine with them as is. They’re still way better looking and smelling than last time.
Better is a win in my book!
Thanks again to all of you for looking in!
Be blessed beyond measure and know that you are!
I tried to compensate for the lights by editing the brightness and contrast on the pictures. They came out as close to what I see with my eyes.
I wish you could get the dirty dozen in Canada I wanna try that stuff
Nice forest
Looks like some big old trichs on that Skywalker. I probably missed this but what’s she smelling like?
Looks like they are smiling for the group picture …lol…canopy looks pretty even too , I have lots trouble keeping mine even , maybe I should quit growing 5 different strains at once
@Crazy1
There are nine plants of seven different strains in there.
I’ll post a pic tomorrow (lights out right now) of the way I have them leveled up underneath.
At what point did you start feeding and what strength. Only asking as I’m thinking about running happy frog on my next run and I also use the ff trio along with calmag and recharge.
I started around week three. I started at half recommended dose and slowly raised it for two weeks to full dosage. I had to watch them very close for signs of problems because:
GP : 5gal bag
HF - perlite - worm casting 2 - 1 - 1
WW : 3gal
HF - perlite - worm casting 2 - 1 - 1
Skywalker : 3gal
HF - perlite - worm casting 4 - 1 - 1
Critical Kush: 5gal
Ocean Forest - perlite - worm casting 2 - 1 - 1
Cookies Kush: 3gal
Straight Ocean Forest
I’m trying different mixtures of mediums to nail down what works for me. Nutes were all over the place because of this.
Now, my first grow was in straight Happy Frog, using the same nutes. Only I never went full dosage until two weeks into flower.
That one did really well too. There’s pictures at the top of this journal.
I know, not much help. Sorry.
Well, staying true to the experimental nature of this grow, I’m taking some advice from my friend Mr. Eagles009.
I’m switching the lights to 11-13 over the next two days.
They should think Winter is around the corner and get serious about building their potency. My needs are not pushing for massive harvest as much as potency. We shall see what happens.
She’s sweet, but kinda reminds me of some spices mixed together. My wife and I couldn’t nail it down to one spice but it reminds me of when mom used to open her spice cabinet. One thing surprised us though. There’s a touch of fuel smell. I hope that doesn’t carry over into the taste.
I hadn’t done a rub since they went into flower so it took me a bit to answer the question.
Definitely a different pheno from what I needed up with. These plants are crazy you never know. Mine was dank and yours looks dank. I’d wager she smokes okay
Im gonna go back to Happy Frog next grow. I used Ocean Forest this time and Im not having good luck with it. I think its too hot for seedlings. I am experiencing nutrient
burn on my seedings. I flushed the soil yesterday. Hopefully that helps. And that is definitely something we learned as well @BigMike55 .
After the harvest I plan to go through my notes and put together a fairly large post documenting the differences I dealt with in mediums.
Ocean Forrest is hydrophobic and hot. I’m done using it.
It’s definitely to hot bro. I used to cut mine with coco. 1/3 FFOF 2/3 Coco. With all my seedlings.
@MoBilly looks like you got some crazy good fire growing in there my man. I’m verry happy for you!
Thanks @LilJonB ! It’s hard to describe the smell of seven different strains, all budded out, in a room that size.
