Yeah, @MyrtleGrounds
I’ll have to say that most around here are patriotic folk. Someone threatened to desecrate this monstrously large American flag on our courthouse wall. Yeah, “the wall”. It must have been at least 90 - 100 ft long.
The towns population set watch on that thing in the middle of Winter, and kept it up for a long while. There was a lot of that going on in the country.
But yeah, we kept a guard of six or seven day and night for weeks.

lol I’ve pretty much said the same thing all my life… I love my county, but fear my government, volunteered, not drafted, and did two tours Nam in the '60s, soooo… I will protect my flag!

edit… gotta flagpole in front yard, come take it down… if you don’t care about dying!

I wouldn’t change that for anything! I need space, fresh air and country folk around me.

I have much respect for those who served during war time. I just hate the thought of living through some of the stories I have heard growing up as a military brat.

I too was a military brat (AF). It was a wonderful time and I loved growing up in great places. Back then military families banded together. I was taught to respect the flag (along with elders, teachers, etc) Let’s face it, we were taught to respect a lot of things. :grinning:

  • Thank you for your service one and all! Much Respect!

@Indoornesian
Does this resemble the GDP you’re looking for?

The colors are definitely looking like it’s it! More importantly is the juicy fruit smell, the yellow pack. :yellow_heart:

Yes. I brushed against it last night. The smell was unmistakable and STRONG!
