Sup everyone, recently been trying my hand at popping some of the older stuff I have. Which led me to Mr nice. Stock. Watching a recent notsodog podcast with crybaby about maple leaf indica , afghan t…ect. Interested me into watching a q&a with Shanti on YouTube. It’s about 10 months old. In it Shanti speaks of afghan t being dead, but was bred alot and its offspring is still used to this day, nordle (super skunk), afghan haze, are supposedly direct offspring of afghan t. And he hinted at he has a super sk male that he got from Nevil that he still uses . I’m leaning hard on the idea that the afghan sk MALE Shanti uses is a super sk male. The only time it’s plain out says super sk is in the dad of early queen…which it says super skunk. He also mentioned critical mass as something to do with afghan t. Which I thought was afghan s x skunk. Being afghan s is the sister of afghan t. Which nev said afghan t was the skunk architect and s was the sweeter sister. Both being maple leaf indica stock. So as I jump further down this rabbit hole I’ll be putting up the process of me playing around with the older stuff here…why… Well…cause I’m kinda tired of all this dessert strains… they’re cool and all …but let’s grow and talk about some some real F’N weed.
I am hearing everything you are saying! Personally, any GSC, cakes, and certain gelatos I try to avoid. I have two Mr. NICE cultivars from a recent auction and trying to figure out how to work them in my grow schedule.
Yeah I hear the auction is where it’s at. I seen someone growing a cross that they won in auction,that is not available on Mr nice regular stock. It was either afghan sk x ash or afghan Hz x ash. Whichever it was it’s legend because ash is basically (afghan t x skunk ) x ( afghan s x skunk) which equals basically MLI x skunk. Pairing with either afghan Hz or sk would make it a ix on either afghan t or s… How many seeds come in a auction win.
It varies from who is making the donation or offering seeds up for sale. I have seen the seed count range from 1-60+ before. Obviously, the auction item with one seed was a feminized seeds 
I should state the auctions I am speaking of are the ones held here on OG.
The ones from Mr NICE i have is La Nina and Mango Widow. Not sure if those are around or not but from what SeedFinder shows they seem like great ones to have in a collection.
Mr nice auctions are an amazing way to try out his gear for a fraction of normal cost. No fancy packaging though just labeled tubes.
No doubt. Shanti spoke on black/white widow…he said to find that old white pheno you’ll have to search a bit . He said it shows up like 1/50 plants. But it’s there.
That is the killer part about the actions you can afford to run 10 packs when they are 12.50

Shanti posted on Instagram. He’s got a big grow of shit going hunting different moms and dads, he also says nxt ye he’s releasing shit, ssh, and the original critical mass not the copies flooding Spain. Also he’s popping a bunch of old Nevil seeds to hunt. Haze, Afghans…ect. Interesting
Oh man, would be an amazing to have access to the older stock of Shanti. The world needs to open it up and keep it thriving
I’m wondering… Should I pop these “super skunk f4” increase I have. I think they were from farmer Joe’s stock that time… maybe run a few next to nordle to see any similarities…
Is this from the .nl site you guys are getting these? Or the us one?
I got mines from the .nl site (original) yrs ago. I’ve seen the u s one has 50$ pks on older seeds but a note something to the saying minimal 50% germ rate. When I get in a better position I’m gonna get more Mr nice.
Is anyone able to confirm these seeds are actually any good? I know the legend of years past but have they fallen off?
I grew The Stones a couple years ago from the nl auctions, it was pretty good… not great, but good. This last Summer I planted, I don’t know, I think 8 of each of Ortega and Medicine Man from the US site sales stock, and nothing came up… so probably stay away from those sale seeds…

I wonder what that (afghan s x sk) x skunk x super sk. Is…maybe that’s Ash but then again nah …ash is afghan sk (afghan s x sk) x afghan hzc (afghan t x hzc). And on another note maybe kush 4 resemble bubba kush types because it could be k4 x Nl2. And …this is me just thinking. What if the NL that’s in bubba wasn’t just nl5. It could of been a cut from 5 x2 .which if I’m not mistaken is what nev released as the NL seed line.
The last time I ran, nordle, devil, ash, shit. They were all good looking plants for what they are. You for sure gonna find mids. Not bad mids but mids. But if you stay on the hunt. You’d for sure would find that exceptional one.like Shanti said with widow. You’d probably run 50 females to find that 95 pheno. With 15+ seeds per pk. That’s not that many to hunt throughout to find that. These are looked at by me as breeding tools. And nostalgic times. Now I’m interested in knowing more about nevs skunk selection…was it from shit stock. Or different. Did it have citrus terps or was it the Afghan dom male used to make shit.
Good question. I won the pack of g13 x Afghan Skunk and will likely run 2 plants very soon next to the crickets NL2 x puck. It had this description:
