I keep searching up Dreadbread and being brought back here, so forgive my posting on an older topic. I am sad to see that you were unhappy with the way they ran. I was excited for you on this one. I think some things just perform better outdoors. Hold onto these seeds. Just because something herms, or at all, doesn’t make it trash. I’ve noticed some write off Snow Lotus for similar indoor problematic behavior.
Sometimes when we select against these “unwanted” behaviors we accidentally take away something linked to it that makes it worthwhile. Breeding is tricky that way. If you read about how humans lost to time monumental health benefits that used to be in apples and tomatoes by selecting for different colored/more uniform fruit, it might blow your mind. When we select for one thing, we don’t necessarily know what we are giving up until it’s too late.
TL;DR: I hope you change your mind about putting these out.
