No, I top feed “x” per schedule, that’s just runoff that I didn’t vacuum up with the shop vacuum.

Bucket with a hole 2" from the bottom, put hydroton up to the hole, fill with perlite/vermiculite (my preferred, you can do coco etc.).
Product (water/nutes) in, check the runnoff ph & ec and adjust from there.
Admittedly, it’s a bit more work than I thought it would be, but I’m enjoying it. 
Are you serious? Is it that straight forward? Your plants are growing at an amazing rate. I know hydro grows faster but, please, gimme a break! It’s like my plants are living in soil but light years from here, and my mind keeps asking questions… Thanks. I saw a video about sub irrigating which drew my attention. psyched up about it. P.S. So the plants grow in a solid medium, perlite and vermiculite, and they have their roots taking nutes from water under, is that it? Pardon the lack of minimum knowledge…

Was going to plant a few more fems, then I realized I have zero room for a few weeks. 
I love the sticker! I wonder if anyone has ever tried conveying one of those cloners to full hydroponics. If the res. was bigger at the bottom I think you you could do it. Looks like all the money in that cloner would be the sprayers (I don’t know what they are called) and the pump huh? The rest is just the res and a lid with holes in it? Or am I missing something? Everything is looking great. Keep it up!

It is, the emitters spray the water, if the roots grow down into the reservoir then it’s like dwc
I always wounded why that particular cloner seemed as pricy. It works really well tho. You ever have any fails? It looks like your success rate is really high. I would just use gel and put em right in soil and cross my fingers. I get like 1 out of 3 to root the way I want em.
It’s a good cloner, but after every run I take the emitters out and clean them - clogs hella easy.
Edit : all the fails I’ve had were due to user error and not maintaining the equipment. Only had a few, but I’ve had some fails 
Other than that love it. Totally worth the extra time and effort

I actually did post it awhile back . Didn’t seem to be much interest.
I’m going to make a smaller one for 6 clones in about 3 gallons. Gotta find the perfect container for the res.
The rez I showed you is probably 2 - 3 gallon and you don’t fill it. It came from Walmart I believe.
Oh. Well Damn I might be able to go smaller then huh? I’ll know once I find the right container. It will speak “Jon clone in me” and I will.
