At first I was going to chop them being too large running into the light having new bonsai moms, and wished someone could take them and grow outdoors, but I don’t know if any, then I thought why not just put them on the balcony and let them regrow in time for outdoor seasonal change to photoperiod. I also thought maybe too easily seen, but I don’t think so. Anyway, I rolled up their bags and added 1 gall each happy frog mix.

Thunderstorms the last few afternoons had them taking a beating. Yesterday’s storm knocked them both over, had to put the loose mix back in, so I added hydrotron rocks for weight and 2 bricks to brace the bags in place. Yes, the new growth is starting from where it was being torched by the light and mag deficiency. I may give them a cal mag bath. Direct foliar feeding seems to be the only way to supply enough. They’re about 4ft.
