How far off should a light be again? Figure about 12 -18 inches

Depends on the light. My small tent that’s vegging the blueberry diesel the light is running at 150w at the minute and it’s around 3ft from the canopy.
Too much light is a thing also bro.

Thats 150w too and they look like they are stretching at about a ft higher than it was now so i dropped to that. If they get unhappy i will raise it

You want them to stretch a little bro so you know they are growing. It’s when in flower you need the light closer to the canopy.
I think you may be seeing slow growth as the light is maybe stunting them.

Ill get out the photone app and do a reading of the light levels to see later n do a comparison if you like.

You can if you want but you have to understand that phone camera/light sensors vary considerably enough so that I’d not trust the end results.
I’ll install the same app on my s21 and see what results I get also for comparison if you want???

Ill get up there later and i can run the app on several phones if you like to check the difference in cameras. Ill get a tape measure and see what exact distance im measuring it from too cause im just eyeballing it at the moment.

Dropped 3 purple punch and 6 seed stockers random auto mix today. Keeping it easy on myself with fems for now.

Hoi whats the strength of these joists in the attic? Will they take 400L of water? Im not incredibly worried cause theres a wall running under them in the centre of the house but still want to know the strength. I imagine spreading them out might be a bit better to retain my ceilings 
its already taken 150L plus me and my partner banging about without any creaks or noise so far. Wasnt jumpin or anythin to see if i fell through 
I figure i can sit something inside the bubblers to raise the water level and make them take less water so less weight.

No mate the joists can barely take a person’s weight.
Most roofs have a horizontal purlin on both sides you could build some kind of shelf suspended from though to hold a water butt containing that much water. You could build it high enough up where it will help with a gravity feed system like your autopots
