My grow setup -

In the beginning, a wooden crate, I went dumpster diving for 3-4 or these.

Starting to show some shape.
First hood I made 150 HPS a deconstructed security light from Acehardware.
First box glowing.

A whopping 67 dried grams of buds!! Hey you got to start somewhere in time.
Please remember, I was an old welder dude, I had ZERO experience with using a computer, I had zero idea how to take pics, or save pics, and when I went from one computer to another, all my saved photos went all kattywhampous and ended up all over the damn place.
But that was my first year, I made MANY Many changes if you want to see them let me know.

I love how you had enough space to separate to have two grow spaces! Very creative!!

This is NOT MY DESIGN!! I followed NGB when he was posting this many years ago. I made lots of changes to it, not due to a bad design, I’m just a hopeless tinkering fool.

Hey dequillo!! One of the next changes was to add a 70MH in the hood with the 150HPS, that was a gold choice, as my dried bud amount went up very very decent.

If you can find a place where something industrial is being installed, do some can hopping, and see what is thrown out. I filled up my pu truck with lumber/insulation/plywood/luan then over the years I repurposed these items into what I needed.
Hell I built and sold a few boxes using the OG design…all NGB!!!
Sunken floor for hydro or dropping your medium lower for more bud room. A sliding in wall circulation system, that uses hollow walls. I got anywhere from 2oz’s up to 4oz’z per cycle of dried packed away bud.

Sweet!! Gotta love free stuff, eh!!! I have so much stuff that was just gonna get tossed, it’s incredible! Best find was a set of Garnet amps and speakers from a gymnastics club that was moving. The girls there didnt realize they were throwing out thousands of dollars of custom sound equipment built by a legend (Gar designed and made the amps that many rock bands used…the guess who, etc). But them (the coaches at the gymnastics club) being young and from affluent families didn’t see the value…easier ro buy new than to move the old.

I took a lot of inspiration from NGB and his boxes too! Another big influence in me was Anti on ICMag. Loving this thread so far, thanks for sharing.
