ok I handled the stupid problem. Whatever it was EC was normal, ph was 6.0, 20 leaves were crisped up. Root ball was bangin’ thing was huge. It was absorbing mega water. So! I did what I always do if there is some kind of lingering questions. I change it out. Bah that makes 3 changes in a month… hmm strange. I wonder if it was linked to the mega power outages, because that’s more res changes than I’ve done in the last decade. There was a strange white crust I washed out, looked like precipitated…nutrients? root crap? Water crap? I should have saved a sample and imaged it. Oh well, all’s well that ends well. hah hah!
ahh good times. I’ll start by showing the damage to the plants, that way the normal plants look so much better! The sad truth is there isn’t much damage. I always make a big deal out of a few leaf losses…HOLY SHIT! But it’s never something that could kill that plant… I don’t think? Usually I never come in and see 20 dead leaves that died during a 12 hour period. Definitely abnormal.
I cut the dead leaves off for the most part. New ones are growing.
plant babies are growing like weeds! I have a feeling I should test and perhaps increase the conductivity of the solution.
Bondage gear engaged.
The veggers! I am bulking them up so I can clone them soon. They are definitely in veg mode still. I wonder if putting them in the dark off to the side under the LED is what triggers it. That never happened under the hps.
oh yah, the king tuts as well in bloom.
That one plant still looks kind of strange, but I’m leaving it the fuck alone, because I already did my thing. The king tut that looked strange has fully recovered, so I expect this one will too. When the light comes on, I’ll give it a physical exam, but last time I did that it looked fine. OK! Check out the seedlings, they are branching out.
you can see the pipe cleaner is holding them apart.
Sorry about the shittyness of the photos. I think the bonding is complete! If I take one of the plants and lift it up, the others come with it, all solid-like. Notice how they all…sort of turn into roots at the exact same spot? It’s not careful planning, more like that’s the conditions the plant is grown in. If the water level was higher or lower, so would the join and root ball. They don’t think and plan, they react to conditions.
well, now you have seen a plant fusion project at work. They all get along very nice-like I think even sharing resources. In the end, it just resembles any other normal plant. I wonder if they even share cells or systems? I will preserve the plant systems for later study to see what the real truth is. I can’t do DNA testing, but I can physically see if the xylem and/or phloem joins into one. I never dissected the joined plants before, just tossed em in the compost after I was done.
Looks female to me
could be, but it looks kind of strange, I mean that’s not a normal locale. Shouldn’t it be more to the center? lol we’ll know soon enough. The others have no sign yet.
here’s my integrated pest murderer, a highly efficient killing machine. My Symbiote!
I honestly haven’t checked the sex of this critter, but I put the spider there 2 weeks ago. All the celler dwellers moved over to the corner, so I had to bring in a new spider, one that doesn’t move. This one just sits there…so still… looking like a lump of dirt. Until BAM! A hit on the web = a nit in the belly.
The seedlings are hitting their stride with the increased nutrient dose.
Still no hairs…still waiting. I think it might be time to tighten the bondage gear.
king tuts, they are doing their thing. Microscope says they ain’t ready by a long shot. I agree, I still see nice growth on the buds.
The meat breath plant that looked funky is growing out. Starting to look normal, but the old leaves definitely took damage. Strange.
Is your air pump hanging on pipe cleaners? Nice!
yah that thing can really vibrate around on the floor otherwise. Makes some crazy noise! I know they say you should have your pumps higher than the level of the liquid, but I tried my hardest to get the water to flow up the air hose against gravity and failed. Unless I suck on the hose, the water doesn’t move.
Yeah probably different pump designs can be an issue but not yours. How many weeks into flower are those King Tuts?
53days give or take a few nanoseconds.
I still think that plant is male lol.
That growth looks so strange. I hope to get at least 1 female, then I can produce more seeds and get a wider variety of females to choose from. The problem with a “single female” ahem… lawyer. Sorry futurama glitch. Is you only get one chance to get a good one. That single female could fail, so I’d like at least 2 females? Then if one sucks I got another.
Reminds me, Some Shit is happening over the next week. Got to go in to the govnt place and learn the computer scanning system. Nothing to do with growing weed lol! ugh 14 hour day starting at 5am. Probably gonna get COVID lol just kidding I’ll be in a space suit.
