here’s the bloom room! I hope in a couple weeks I can toss the meat breath in there. Oh it’ll be so nice to have all the chaff-plants tossed out and be onto the production ones. Meat breath, big bud! Keep pumpin’! Then I can concentrate on dialing it in for max productivity. LOL enhanced productivity? We’ll see. I think I remember the big bud can take fairly high EC. Meat breath I’m not sure of…yet.
here’s some more meat breath madness! I am loving the huge plant. Thing is a water-sucker though, have to be careful it doesn’t dry out.
ok, and finally I have an image of the roots of the pelargonium. See how they are vastly different from the cannabis roots? No two plants are the same above, or below the ground.
It’s going to bloom soon! Oh and also I tested the white crud when it flowed off the roots. It’s got a high EC in that crud so I am leaning towards it being some kind of nutrient crud. So there must be root exudates as well as nutrient on the root. I can see the exudates as dark crud, but also there is a white cloud hanging off the roots with high EC.
Things are growing! But in a good way! I’ll hunt around and try to plant those other meat breath plants…very soon! Tomorrow! Today! Vegas is giving 2 to one odds! On Tuesday!
I got a photobomb dedicated to the franken plant. seems male to me.
I was poking around with the EC meter trying to get strange readings but nothing abnormal happened…just EC 1.8
I decided to draw up a simple diagram of how my entire operation works and what the layout is. Green splotches are the current plants I have growing. Yellow is the lights I have hung. Black arrows indicate airflow pattern. Lots of doors…all over the place lol! In detail you have to go through like 5 doors to get to the grow room. The second one has a large biohazard sign.
I never fixed the place up after the natural disaster…I keep thinking another one is around the corner. I could always fix the vapor barrier and tape up all the holes. I figured cleaning up the biohazard mold was good enough.
oh yah, forgot to mention the flood is…unlikely to do so much damage again. There is a well in the floor now that traps and ejects all the water before it can flow in. We constructed it in the lowest spot. AKA sump well.
now for some photos! yay!
lol! I forgot to put dimensions on my drawing! The veg room is 3 meters long and the bloom room is 5 meters long by three meters wide! Ditto for the veg, it’s three meters wide.
here’s another angle on the veg room, you can see the corner of the hash freezer through the open door.
I open up most of the doors during winter, no danger of nits. Some stupid earwigs crawled in there but I hunted and crushed them all.
ohh yah well you know I started the pelargonium out at 2x the dose I gave the cannabis. It was struggling to survive at EC 1. Those blooms are gonna pop before long though, and I suppose if I wanted I could generate some seeds. 4 or more clones will do the trick. There are half a dozen side shoots for cloning potential! I am going to bet the blooms are pink! We’ll know in a couple of days.
Going to bump the meat breaths up to EC 2.8 or something. I know they look good, but if I want some next level shit, I need to concentrate the TLC on them for the final stretch. They are at 1.6ish time to double it, almost. heh heh. It’s never 100% accurate, that’s how the universe works.
hmm it went up to 3.2. I will give it some time to mix and check it again.
seems high still, but I’ll let it ride. By tomorrow I’ll know if it was a crazy dose. Or if the plants will make it lol! I can easily dilute the solution.
sips his coffee Things are looking good still! The EC of the meat breath is slowly going down and the plants are absorbing water. So, we’re in a nominal state.
Veg plants are packing on the girth. I will attempt to plant the other smaller plants today and get the pumping! hmmm tuesday!
here’s the meat breath that I doubled up the dose on. I thought it would be slightly less than double…but for some reason it was exactly double. Hopefully it’ll be the last dose they take before harvest.
I raised the light, and checked the plants over for signs of nutrient lock/reverse osmosis. At the end of this round I’ll know if I went crazy coo coo bananas.
Another bloom room photo. Oooof I can’t wait to pare this operation down to 2 different kind of plants.
want to know what that chair in the corner is for? Guru meditation! It’s actually my step stool lol You think I should get a real one??
