So you’re running each plant in it’s own bucket, with no recirculation or anything? How much time do you spend per day checking/adjusting things? Per week?
testing takes like 5 min, I only test the plants on a strain basis. For example, I roll in and I’m curious about the meat breath. So I go over and test one of them. Sometimes two. Then I decide how much of the full dose I have to add to get it back up. Last night I did 90/90/40 in each meat breath bucket. Then I looked at the big bud and decided it was looking like crap, so without testing I just bumped it up to EC 2 point something. That took 60/30 ml of fertz. So the whole run last night was probably 30 min, and I do that every 2 weeks or so. I water every other day on the bloom plants, and water the veg plants probably once before they go into bloom heh heh.
The final photo is the meat breath I blasted with huge EC last night. They were down below EC 1.0, and needed a boost.
Things looking great brotha. How much longer on the meat and big bud??
got my seedling thing going on. Poked some holes in the paper towel and planted the seedlings in there. I also cut the pod off the remaining seedling, using the exact-o blade. Surgery went well, but the patient is still a small white blob. I’ll check the progress on the meat breath, but the big buds are ready to harvest. It takes like 70 days. I can go and look see how long it’s been just a sec.
meat breath are 34 days in, so I suspect another 36 days to go! I was gonna guess half done. wow that woulda been a close guess.
Damn bro nice… half way and the look that good already. Doing something right!!
The secret is the trichomes on the meat breath are really huge. So they are visible really quick and look super frosty. I’ll try and get my thumb in for a macro shot, the buds themselves are nowhere near golf ball size. I’ll use that for size reference. I gotta take a microscopic photo today, because it’s day 34 it’s going to overlap the last cycle!! Meat breath trichomes can get up to 600 microns, which looks like ultimate frost.
Sooooooo far they are just little crap nuggets, but they have lots of promise! As long as nothing fucks it up…by nothing I mean “as long as I don’t fuck it up” there are going to be lots of hard nuggets in 36 days. EC 3.6 hehheh coincidence.
Nice, can’t wait to see the micro pics. Kinda want to get one.of the high powered scopes. 60x is okay but I want to really see them. Mine from a week ago I believe.
looks like your trichomes could be 500 microns tall! If you are taking that photo with a camera, use the zoom to eliminate vignetting. lol! ok.
wow some of the trichomes under the bud leaf are huge!
It was with my phone… in line waiting on food. Ill get new pics when I get home.
yah, you can see a few more trichomes in that photo. I just estimate their size based on the width of the head I just put each cap at 120microns give or take a few tens.
here’s the seedling project! You can see two big healthy seedlings. Trust me the third is on it’s way. I cut off the pod and inside was the white lump which has shown signs of life now. I suppose the pod wasn’t cracking or letting in moisture or something, so I peeled it off like a banana skin. I took the xacto and peeled it back starting at the flat spot where it connected to the plant at some point. Once I had half of the pod off, I just put it back and waited. 24 hours later there is action. You’ll see it for real like tomorrow or the next day.
veg plants are doing their thing. Unfortunately, the big bud dose only brought them up to EC 1.4, which is a little shy of target. Must have been super depleted.
Harvest day is definitely tomorrow, and I can already hear the chittering of ferrets! They are on their way to gnarl off all the leaves heh heh.
Yeah as you gave it a super dose right?
Noodle cats…
I figured it would be just shy of EC 1.0 so the dose would bring it above 2, but it must have almost been pure water like ec 0.2. I ignored them for far too long hah hah! The big bud get some damage if the EC goes above 3.0, but it’s not bad. I suppose I don’t have to be very cautious! I’ll go back in there and raise the conductivity some more. I am pretty sure I have micro-nutrient starvation damage on the leaves. I’ll give em a haircut as well!
