My Water Culture

meat breath and their progeny, meat banger. The banger plant looks bushier. Those meat breath plants grow fast as hell!

here’s the veg canopy in the main area. Meat breath plants are falling over. I think I should install new strings in the veg room. I never really had very many set up to being with because the plants didn’t spend as much time there. Also, I used lots of them on the ivy geranium that must have 6 strings.

My whole operation is run on strings and pipe cleaners. I think they’re the most important part lol!

I know most of your harvest goes to hash, do you trim anything before throwing it in the freezer? Or do you just remove the big fan leaves and buck them off the stem?

Tell you the honest truth, under the new contract there’s lots of buds being trimmed. Probably close to 25% of the harvest is hash material now. Things have changed in the last year, that’s for truth. I was cranking those harvests 100% into hash. That was my old contract though, it was all cancelled but I just kept going anyways, just for myself. OK but to answer your question:
When I am prepping hash material the rule is no stems over 2cm, no fan leaves. So that is definitely covered under “remove the big fan leaves and buck them off the stem” into a sack and right away into the freezer.
The sponsors contracts and medical system is actually pretty decent here in Canada, but the reality is you lose your options to do whatever the fuck you want. Or else I’d still be using my propane torch to ruin hash on a piece of parchment just for giggles.

Thats my plan moving forward.

That’s a good rule of thumb, thanks.

I find the stems get wound around the cake mixer I use, nothing like spending half a cycles worth of time picking that crap off the drill. Tiny chunks of stem don’t interfere.

I could have swore I was tracking this thread. I feel like that happens from time to time.
I’m going back and rereading the whole thing. I’m sure there are things I will pick up that I didn’t grasp before. Your grow is fan-freaking-tastic as usual! You ever get board being as good as you are? Sometimes you need a lil bit of drama in the grow room.

heh heh I like to keep some side projects going on. I got the seedlings, the ivy geranium. There’s always the hash! My life does revolve around the grow, I barely take any vacations… I counted the week of downtime when I was sexing those plants as a vacation. I call the growing scheme “coma mode” because nothing ever really happens except the plants grow then get harvested. waves his bluelabs around of course I usually test the EC once every 2 weeks and the PH once a month lol.

Whats height?

They’re about 1.4 meters tall! They grew unusually tall this time, but I did give them a mega dose of EC 3.0 at the beginning of bloom. Right now they are down to EC 1.4, pretty much time to bump it back up. I Won’t Go Crazy this time. I’ll bring it back up to EC 3.0 not wayy too high at 4.0 lol!
