Your new ventures into rooted clone shipping was my inspiration my brother! :fist:t3:🪶🪶
I know you like to keep costs down so pricing remains reasonable for all the good peeps that visit the Hall of Genetics. Wishing you the utmost success in this new branch of business! :vulcan_salute:t3:

Also, an added benefit… once someone receives a clone using this method/container. They just turn off the light (or replace it) and it can be used to send clones to another friend! Making the overall cost even less. lol

The lights say good for up to 36 hours. The one I tested stayed on for 8 days before I got tired of looking at it. It got pretty dim but it was still on! :joy:

Definitely looks good, but I might be confused here… it seems like you heat seal the bottom of the bottle with the collar floating in water, but then you go from a picture of a clone in a rooting cube to the clone in the bottom of the bottle with the collar around it. How are you getting the clone and soil in there without breaking the seal? Or am I just confused about the sealing part, and you can remove and replace the collar freely so you just empty out the water and replace it with medium of your choice? It doesn’t seem like you could just be putting the cube in the water, since it’d damp off before it made it to where it’s going…

@Cormoran Hey bud! :wave:t3:
Apologies for any confusion on that step. The heating part is not to permanently seal the collar to the bottle for shipping, it’s just to shape the rim of the lower portion of the shipper to squeeze the collar tightly. The water is just used to keep the collar in position during the heating and to keep the rest of the bottom portion from melting as ya just want to get the lip. When the process is done ya remove the collar and dump the water out. The empty bottom portion can then be used with soil, bare plugs or bare root clones. Can also ship non-rooted cuttings with the cut ends wrapped in damp paper towels as is the norm.
Before shipping the only extra “sealing” is a wrap of packing tape around the seam of the bottle. :+1:t3: Hope this helps. :slightly_smiling_face:

@olschool Yes! You are correct. It can be reused as long as the bottle is in good shape. The lights are very cheap at around 10 bucks after taxes and you get 32 of them! :partying_face:
I will say the only noticed difficulty with using soil is it takes a bit of squeezing and a couple hard shakes to dislodge the soil ball. It’s slightly more difficult than transplanting a solo cup. If one runs into issues the bottom portion can always be cut down the sides to remove the clone. The shipper bottle is recyclable and inexpensive!

Very cool my friend! Yes! This was also a concern. At the cost of producing these it doesn’t matter if they come back or not! That said they are so reusable that they’re great for trading cuts with buddies! I’m really happy this may help a few of y’all out! Look at me feeling all useful over here! :joy:
