Didnt say i was not crazy…

Same here, I try to buy quality and–having been an electronics tech in the Navy–I always buy new electronic devices to minimize my risk of defects  But when I was reviewing some units I saw that this unit had 4% one star ratings and Mars Hydro had 6% one-star ratings so --having 50% less one-star ratings than the Mars-- I thought why the heck not

My Mars was a quality item with a few negatives. A real workhorse.

My 2x4 is a really sweet rig. For all stages even though I haven’t used them for them all.

Gonna go Migro…cause it rhymes…

Cant figure out 4x4 or step up and go 5x5 . 5x5 gives me lots of room to work under it, fits perfect in my 5x10 tent too.

5x5

I bet the further you move away from the corners the PAR drops rapidly.

Yes, will drop less with the 5x5 but its just for veg

I concur my GLS 300 is a gem… absolutely love that light. Their new lights have me very intrigued as well but I wasn’t going to wait either so for my 5x5 space I decided to try the new Mammoth Emerald Green 6 bar. Going to see what the fuss is about.

As for veg specific I absolutely love my GC ROI-E200 (bar light w/ dimmer) can run 50-100-150-200w. right now they’re running around $299 2x4ft coverage. I was going to order 2 more of these for my racks because I love this light so much. I’ve done a bunch under it including flower and it was unreal for a veg spec and the flower I got from it.

As it was they were not in stock so I decided to try the new ION frames EVO3 from AC infinity. Grabbed 2 of them and since they’re full spectrum I can figure they can do whatever I need them to. Plus they’re customer service is awesome. They replaced a controller that went bad on me after a year without me having to send back or anything. Just went through a quick trouble shoot and they had me one in the mail same day after we couldn’t resolve the issue.

Sorry guys for the Little interruption,I am vegging two tents this time and want to know what would you think of this:
2x2 tent with a 100 watter led quantum board from Amazon and 6 plants to sex and select;

2,5x2,5 with a 200 watt lumatek led dimmable light and 10 autos (only 4 Will be grown bigger, the others Will go Little sog style)
What would you change for a vegging purpose?

I like my phlizon :+1: no complaints at all . I believe headybear won one here

Okay, made up my mind, went Migro Aray 4, 250 watt , to cover a 5 x 3 .5 area, 280 bucks to my door TOMORROW , speed has it’s advantages

Yeah i think it will work well too . I set up a 4 x 4 area i want to cover with it , which will be enough to cover all and give me some work space .

Ill map it tomorrow when it shows up , if it wont throw 550 or better at the corners and less than 900 at center ill send it back and go with the larger 500 watt version which certainly should .
Hoping to run it like 15 inchs off canopy at 80 percent power , 200 watts . If 200 watts will cover that footprint in veg , and its just Mom veg, not aggressive veg prior to flipping , my GLS handles that perfectly , ill be happyv. If not ill spend 150 more and get the 4 bar 500

I bet it works fine.
