I have new nodes growing out my leafs. That’s wild I’ve seen pics of this but never have had it happen.strain is Cannarado Back to Cookies. There a few too. Not only 1. I count 6 so far all my new growth.
Looks like a trippy leaf twin or something
I want to see it grow multiple nodes that I never seen
Oh nice! I’ve seen it a few times before too but never in person. Think it’s a cookies thing but not positive.
Bud sites on the fan leaves would be nice
Thatll happen in flower
Damn!!! Cool as F@$k!!!
I have a old skunk plant that does this occasionally and when I grew bubba kush many years ago it did it alot. I’ve only scene pictures of this otherwise and have grown alot of strains.
I know I’ve seen it on a couple of the GPS strains and some others when I was on riu. Might’ve been chem/crack crosses instead of cookies that I was thinking of
Its definitely a neat mutation. I’m still wanting to find a plant that grows like a vine, I’ve seen it once and read of two other people expieriancing it but never with any knowledge of what it was genetically.
Very cool, like a hops. That and traits like this leaf node are maybe things that will pop up and become the different ornamental or garden varietal cultivars once it becomes federally legal.
I’m suddenly picturing a whole fan leaf-node flower bud that is purple/red used as a garnish/plate for a dish at a very fancy restaurant. Or used whole as a wrap with the leaf flower as the crown!
I have a sativa that at one point had about 20 mains . I used to to learn to use my aero cloner. It wasnt a vine but it was very stretch couldnt support its self.
Indeterminate tomato style! You’ll need to steak/trellis that lol.
Ive already flowered it. I had strings stapled to the ceiling . It was pretty wild.
But really, once you see some flower buds growing out of one of those fan leaves, put it on a plate and serve some sushi or something on it, then snap that pic and it’ll become the next hit at restaurants in legal states. Gormet chefs will pay per leaf to use them on their plate .
I see you have 9 and 11 fan leafs too. I wonder if there could be any benefit into that mutation. If we could get the leafs cents to grow a stem and carry on to grow on like a normal plant. That would be cool.
I love the color of your plant looks really healthy. There’s a reddish hue in there.
That’s wild. I saw that on some of my tomatoes this summer.
The cultivar that it happened on was Blue Gold Berries from Wild Boar Farms. Super tasty little tomatoes with awesome colors. Crazy vigorous plants.
I’ll do some digging and see if I saved any pictures.
Back in the 70s people use to graft hops to plants. Hops would produce thc and we’re very smokable
Try rooting a fan leaf! If it can grow nodes then there has to be a growth tip and plenty of auxins in there.
