I think the ideal plane crash would be it falling out of the sky, and somehow skipping across the landscape with each individual being ejected, safely landing exactly in a comfortable chair in their home, while the plane itself and pilot are totally cool with it and able to engage landing gear to prop the undamaged plane up so it can use the last bit of momentum to catch the next set of passengers as they lemming out of the big people-loading accordion thing at the designated next airport
Point being, ideal crash is an oxymoron lol
