Bridges have always fascinated me. The video clip I posted is famous. An engineer told me one time that that video was one of the first things his teachers showed him in engineering school. Itâs highly illustrative of poor engineering.

Iâve never seen that particular movie of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse, but I have seen at least two other, neither of which was as detailed. Thatâs a much scarier version than what I had previously seen. That guy towards the end of the movie as heâs trying his damndest to hustle his ass of the collapsing bridge. Iâll bet his heart was pounding!
