It’s funny.
A couple years ago, when I first came to OG, you could literally call dibs on seeds here and win practically every day. No exaggerating.
It was incredible. I guess we have way more members now and it’s a bit harder to win. But hang in there and keep trying to win. There are some mighty generous folks on OG. That’s a fact.

Thanks @BigMike55 your words of encouragement are welcoming to me and recognized. I am very very new to OG and a few fellow members gifted me the other day which was quite overwhelming to me as with the quickness to be kind to all. I came from RIU where the vibes were much different to much drama 
and to many people just trolling is what I think they call it just looking to shame and start controversy. I am not in it for that, only help and a desire to grow with others that are good people so here I am now. I really like this form and all the people on it thanks for reaching out to me.

@OhNo555 I can relate to your RIU experiences. I signed on there but didn’t participate much. I needed some help. More than I thought. I watched new guys with innocent enough questions get ruthlessly abused cuz they aren’t master growers. Seemed to be tolerated was what bothered me.
You need help, just ask. Lots of good growers here. I have found a lot of kind, helpful, sarcastic folks I relate well to.
Troll is a term of endearment around my place. Got 6 of the little buggers. Nora’s my oldest granddaughter at 12. Ranger is the new model @ 8 months old.

Sometimes I think people forget where they came from after all we did have sit up, crawl, and then walk. Another words we all had to start some where, and its a good thing that parenthood helps you to remember to be encouraging, and not demeaning. To many people get a kick out of harassing people who have questions on RIU and that is not what I understood these forms were for. helping not bashing or trolling to shame to clickish for my liking. To old for the drama
