OG love grow

I took photo’s to update;
These are the @OleReynard MED V2. The ones I had issues with. One got better - R with the fat leaves, one didn’t - L and the one in the middle was OK.

  1. This one hasn’t gotten any better.

  2. This is the one that has always been ok.

  3. This one has wider leaves than the other two.

Now for the Mad and Moby Dick plants. The two on each side are PK & Chemdog. The middle one is the Moby Dick Auto (2018) it was dropped THREE week AFTER the other two. It is already 3X as big as the first auto (tangerine) I grew same time and both freebies

And look what she is doing.

You should look at the trichomes on the buds rather than the leaves. The trikes on the leaves will go amber before the ones on the buds do.

I have some bud trichomes shots. Took these 6 days ago.

I chopped the Mad #1 girl yesterday.

I store and dry in a cool closet under the stairs and 1/2 underground.

I’m back to reading and searching for how to dry.

@DougDawson - @Chronickyle I cut this 3 days ago and it is still real wet. I cut out water 1 day and than 24 hr dark, no water.
How long do you wait to jar and how moist?

Curing happens between 55% and 65% RH so I like to let it get to around 60% before jarring. I like to make drying last 7 to 10 days before jarring so the drying environment is important.

Best thing I did was buy mini hygrometers on Amazon to put in each jar. If it’s over 65 bring it down to it. I like to cure at 60-65 and store at 55. The mini hygrometers really take the guess work out of it. If it’s to wet in the jars it will mold. I like to use the squish test as a starting point. If I squish a bud gently and it stays squished its too wet. If it reexpands too attempt to go back to shape then it’s deffinetly time for the jars

Out of likes but I would second that. Most of my jars have those mini units in them, take the guess work out of it. Defiantly worth the small investment.

Unless I’m busy all day, which happens a couple days a week, I constantly run outta likes too.

Those mini hygrometers seem like a great investment. They take button cell batteries?

Yes, I have square ones and round ones. Simple, cheap and effective. I always feel like a bad OG’er when I can’t like a comment

I bought some but, I wasn’t sure about when to put bud and hygrometers in the jar.

I have followed you a lot and know you and the others I follow do this.
I only just make butter and I don’t remember doing it that way before. I was dealing with my husband and it was ~2 yrs ago and I don’t have memories of the time. I thought I did it different.
Maybe because I don’t/can’t smoke.
