OGDread's OGGrow

Heyo,

Older overgrower here, back in the game. Used to go wild with mothers, seeds, clones and the works, buts its hard to keep that hobby. Back to some simplified growing from dummies!
This time, in a tent, as Gorilla manages to make tents low enough, yay! Always grew with biobizz allmix/lightmix and biobizz nutes. Someday Ill try hydro.
env.: GGT "shorty"4x4, filtered exhaust, passive intake.
2 x Todogrowled’s, for 410 watt’s in all spectrum cob LED. Uncheap. But the low wattage, and previous heat issues, and the low ceiling made this choice on point I think. Sure, handy people, make them themself, for cheaper. Not me.
What else hmm, got a bluelab ph/ec for fun.
16 amnesia clones in 12L root pouches.

They really blew up! I used to run a similar setup, 4x4 plants with a quick veg and flip. It’s so efficient and fast.

Thanks!
Its my 1st time in the tent. Really liking it overall, drawback is that it’s harder to reach the back.
Much easier to dial in the environment though! I have a tube heater in the tent, 130watts on a thermostat, in front of the intake. I have a dehum set to 50% in the room outside the tent, to fight constant 70+ hum outside the house.
Temp and humidity are very stable now.
I have done 49 on 1m2 (7x7) too long ago, for some crazy sog. Works great when your height is low.

3 of the plants did have spidermites, seems my house cannot get rid of them. Oh well, they are controllable during veg, and I set some californian hunter mites on them in 4th week flower.

So harvest is just finished, and its drying!

Things to improve:

  • set them to flower too soon, I had 4 clones doing bad, should have just tossed them and veg a week longer.
  • Set the net too late

So total coverage isn’t optimal, and perhaps the mites matured them a tad too soon.

By the looks of it, the tops are hard and dense, but nothing superbig. Expected that. Didnt weigh it yet. Will wait two weeks for a dry weight report, but wet it does feel ok.

Total weight 497 grams for 410 watts LED.
Not bad first time with these lights. Better coverage would increase yield. Might get away with putting a little more watts in too.
For now, my cupboard is full!

ps, due to not complete coverage, the buds all the way down received light and were frosty and dense. LEDS DO penetrate.

Nice haul, broke that 1gpw mark by quite a bit!
