When it’s to allow businesses to move their operations overseas to save money or Chinese money to flow into the real estate investment market making houses unaffordable…well…we’re “pro-business” and “free market”.
Who cares who grows what plants where, nobody’s damn business. Farming ain’t easy. Make it all legal like tomatoes are legal and the criminal element is simply abolished with the stroke of a pen.

I have single handedly created a glut by giving away seeds and clones to my inner and not so inner circle.
I know old men who have more poundage than they know what to do with. They don’t even smoke. They are just giving it away. I bet even to some Chinese people.
Soon enough the legal and illegal markets won’t be worth a damn and they’ll need to find another revenue tool.
The subtext of that article is “we did a very bad job on the roll out but it’s not our fault, it’s the Chinese.”
Oh and we don’t like Mexicans either.
