Once You Go Black You Never Go Back

So here it is I dropped three Black Cream Auto’s received from @JohnnyPotseed and three other beans one from a NC (North Carolina) bag bean and two beans from my buddy’s 2020 Outdoor Grow that I am calling KSC2020. As we all like pictures, much easier to read, lol…

Black Cream Auto’s were started on 1/9/22

Edit: I could not remember who @JohnnyPotseed received the Black Cream’s from for his sale, so could not give credit. As it stands the beans come form @Nagel420 via: @JohnnyPotseed

This one had a bit of a hard time removing it’s helmet and started off with a funky stem.

Looking at my notes, NC1 was started on 1/3/22 same time KSC2020’s were and I fear that it’s going to be a no go. Still no secondary leaves, what say all, probably a no go or give it a few more days…?

Following this…

Gonna be fun watching my babies grow under someone else’s care

Did you breed the Black Cream auto’s from Sweet Seeds?

I don’t really have a way as of yet, lol. ya you have me by 19yr @JohnnyPotseed ;)…

I hope I can do right by them and not f’ing it up, lol… Doing some more reading/research I should have place them in their final homes to start, but will place them in 3gal fabric pots once a few secondary leaves grow out. I am not so much worried about yields, as I grow for myself as a learning connoisseur…

This is a question for @Nagel420

Apologies, I meant the Black Cream auto’s.
I’ll edit my post.

yes the Black Cream’s are from @Nagel420 via: @JohnnyPotseed.

lol That question is better served to @Nagel420 since he’s the parent of these!
He was OGenerous enough to donate some to me for the sale.

Always give credit where credit is due cuz…but never take the blame!!  :+1: j/k

Oh wait… I DID take the blame for screwing up on a couple packages, didn’t I? Damn it! can’t even follow my own advice!

um…would that be one of those cases of ‘don’t do what I do, do what I say’?

Ya remember seeing who donated to the effort but when I look back at the sale thread the Black Creams were removed so could not say who they came from, I just remember them come from someone else.

I tried to keep up with the numbers and when they reached what was donated, took that strain down

Either way, may they grow better than the ones I grew!

Yes. Reversed a sweet seeds plant and pollenated 4 others. Dad was prolific and the mom for the seeds I shared was purple as hell…

I start em in small cups too, I just move em to bigger pots before the roots begin to circle the bottom of the cup. No issues with growth.

Ya that was what I was thinking, as long as I get to them before the roots hit the sidewalls/bottom I should be good to go. Again I am not so worried about yields, but was very happy to get 100% germ rate for 3/3 beans, let’s hope the same for the last 7 that I will work with at a later date… First time with an Auto so starting with just a few to see how it all pans out…
