call it ‘Zeke’
Haha perfect! At least I’m not going full DC here I could have called it Clark
Still unknown if it’s feminized or not. I’ll find out
Humidity is at 55% and holding so far. I’m waiting on my ride to work now. If I’m lucky I’ll get more than a day.
Even if I can’t get a air filter system I’ll grab the tent after I get the cash. I should easily have 70, so worst case scenario I found a tent on eBay with a LED light and 2 5 gallon fabric pots in it. It’s not a big tent, but it’ll do if it’s what I can grab for now. I’ll live with multiple tents and start a perpetual harvest in that case.
I have 200 now to spend on my plants.
Here’s some shots before I head out for the day

adjusted lights
I tightened the hemp wick training Diana. I adjusted the lights to point at the plants more directly. On another note Diana looks pretty dark green to me. Food things to come I hope. I don’t see signs of toxicity yet.
The lights are just over the distance of a 12oz beer bottle.
Humidifier is on low keeping the humidity stable. In fact it went up 5% from 45*% to 50%
I found these 2 on Amazon.
Should I go for it?
I have just enough to get the combo. I’ll lose out on the deal on the carbon filter soon. There only 4 left
That will take care of the smell for sure. Also make it easier to co troll the environment a d reflect some unused light. Win, win, win IMO
Now I’ve hit a snag:sweat_smile: I have to get money in my account and I can’t with my bank closed and not accepting cash deposit at the ATM
I’ll look at my options today. Hopefully I figure it out before the 60 off runs out or they run out of stock.
Edit: I figured it out. I reminded myself about gift cards. I got 2 $95 cards and I’ll get the last 5 somehow LoL
Order placed and I’ll have them by Friday night now.
I finally have a tent and won’t have to worry about smell!
I worry about Diana not having enough room. You sure you don’t want to pull out at least some of those cilantro plants?
They’re along the edges of the pot actually. Plus there’s a completely unused portion of soil taking up around half the volume if the pot where only a clover has started creeping in on.
I never expected a large yeild with her. Especially with a 1 gallon pot filled 80% full.
Regardless I’d be more worried about the garlic being so close😅
I forgot to update today LoL.
My phone almost broke today, so I can’t take selfies anymore officially. LoL. I don’t like low mp shots anyways. No detail at all.
At least my rear camera still works fine
At lights on
And now that I’m still up and went in to check on the plants.

Soil is still moist 2cm down. The fabric pots went fully dry everywhere, but the seedlings seem unfazed by 9 hours dry. That may explain why the hygrometer was at 20% this morning.

Auto Yet to be named
Still yet to germinate seeds
There must be something about my soil that stops root growth. The GSC should have popped out by now. I saw its tail poke out before I put it into the soil. It’s been keeps warm and moist the whole time. I use a spray bottle to keep the seeds from being displaced as much as I can.
It appears I got the other garlic bulb buried deep enough in the pot that it’s not growing out of the top too fast, but I do see a bulge now, so it’s going to be growing soon.
I’m removing the garlic if I can. It’s too close to the auto for my comfort. Just a inch away is close enough to kill it once the bulb starts developing. It already tilted in the pot, so it’s probably already made work on it. I thought the garlic was supposed to do this a couple months after the auto was harvested? Either way. @Meesh I just had to get some sleep and wake up feeling better before I could process what you said. The garlic is my biggest concern TBH. The cilantro I’m pretty sure is almost at harvest anyways. I picked one leaf off and the smell of soapy cilantro oils is really strong. I’ll double check the package, but I believe the harvest time was around now anyways.
Watering day.

Seedling still yet to pop out.
Tent is coming Thursday and I’ll have the filter system Friday. Soon they’ll have a new home.
I’m leaving tomorrow morning for a day or so, so I’ll fill and set the humidifier on low before I go. I’m on my own this grow, so no one can help me refill the tank while I’m gone. I will be away enjoying Christmas with my fiancee and her family. This time I’ll have some oil and my flick to keep calm and not panic from crowds of people coming up to me I don’t know yet.
Well the tent arrived already
Don’t care why. Just happy I have it already
Set up the tent. Installed the HPS again. I’ll order new rope hangars ASAP and get this looking better.
Ill be home for a few to keep an eye on the plants.
Should I leave a spot open at the top or bottom or both? I know it’s not airtight, but I’m sure it’ll cause issues if I leave for a day and they have no fresh air. Until I get the filter I’m stuck doing this the hard way
I’m currently at 90f and dropping. I turned down the heat. With the hps I shouldn’t need any at all TBH.
I have all the vents open to keep heat and humidity at a point where I’d like it.
In the end it’s still more light than they had before by a lot. Even without the hps also included, but with all the new plants they might need it.
Any tips on ventilation while I’m not with a filter system yet?
Temperature is going down to 85f and holding ATM.
Humidity is much more stable. I have it on low and its a bit muggy in there TBH.
It’s only at 45-50% humidity rn.
Once the filter is in I expect it to be much less of a issue, but we’ll see. The lights are very high up, but I don’t see any shade pretty much anywhere in there, so who knows what will happen rn. I currently have one of the lower vents inverted to allow air from below to flow inside and the top most vent is wide open to vent out as much heat as possible. Currently all top vents are open to vent out as much heat as possible. I spent some time in there with the plants and I got some color to my skin. The UV light is in there too, so maybe the IR, UV, and intense blue light could be giving me a tan much faster than normal.
On another note all that blue light has forced my mood for the better. Good thing too. I’ll need it tomorrow.
My humidifier lasts 24 hours and I’ll be back in 20-40 hours. I’ll be trying to get the plants set for while I’m gone.
On a positive note I’m seeing growth already speeding up. Seems the lights being so high up isn’t the worst compromise rn.
Thought I’d add a update before I left. I opened the doors all the way to vent out all the air. It’s at 80f rn from 87 in only 3 minutes vs trying for the last few hours to battle the heat that was initially trapped in there amplified. It’s currently 10f above my thermostat in there if I don’t vent it out. I’ve left parts of the zippers open and fans on around the room. Honestly I’ll probably open a window in there for a bit and add a final update after that.
For now here’s some more pics

Garlic off in the corner
Figured I should have a 2nd one going if I’ll be pulling that one soon. I found another small pot too, so I’ll grab some mint and put it in the pot later.
Edit: I got it to stabilize around 80-85f range. I’m leaving anytime I’m finished getting ready to leave within the next hour, so I’ll get the humidity at least in range before I leave.
I have a question: is the tent supposed to be fill of tiny holes? Even if I seal it all I can see the light poking out all along the fabric. Is that normal for a tent, because if it’s letting the light out like that I’d assume it lets smell out too
That’s why you have negative pressure (ventillation) in the tent. With the fan on, it sucks air in those holes and out the filter. No smell leaks out.
