Diana is lightening up so it’s not long now. Plus that garlic is looking like it’s almost time too😅
Zelda is growing a lot of new growth on top of don’t even know how to describe, so I’ll show instead.

I raised my lights again. They’re growing close now😅 I really need to get some wire nuts or wagos ASAP to get the QB in there for better penetration and light spread. I’ll have to raise them 18" after that most likely, but either way I raised them up about 4-6" I saw some shadows fade as I did that too. I think the zmeans make hotspots too close.

I’ve had the thought for awhile now as I’ve been looking at Zelda’s issues progress. It resembles some light/heat burn I’ve seen from lights being too close and the issues did start getting worse as I lowered them. Though the faster growth could be just showing issues and IDK

Sending your grow kit for our side by side tomorrow

As soon as Lucky Charms gets here, I will be starting which should be around the time this arrives there. So in the meantime, you’ll have to figure out who stays and who goes so come the week of Feb 10 - 16th we can get the light at the same height…To keep on my timeline comparing Lucky Charms with Lucky 7’s, a 12/12 cycle of flowering will start the week of Feb 17 - 23 so this’ll go pretty quick

I can see raising the ZMeans up to 24" due to the uv though 15 - 18" is a good height for vegging plants with the QB’s …we will be starting out at that height and end up ~10-12" come flowering/harvest

Sounds good!
Should I raise them up to that height now or wait for them to adjust before changing it again?

Either/or really its up to you when you want to do it as plants adjust pretty quick to light changes

I raised the lights to 22" QB too. I see a much more uniform spread of light. Humidity is climbing higher now too after raising the lights.

I had some difficulty getting them to 22", but I’ll see what I can do about the last 2"

I also called it on the garlic. It’s out of the tent now.

That works for me. The grow has drug on in veg long enough. Whatever stays stays. The small plants if they’re still here will get tossed in the corner. I take it that we’re going 12/12 from seed?

I raised up the lights again to 24-26" from the canopy and moistened the top inch of soil with distilled water. I’ll add megacrop next watering. Only 10oz water for Zelda just to get the topsoil moist. I spent a half hour in there dripping water on.

I’ll measure the distance properly in the morning or the next time I’m stuck awake.
Also I’m using Zelda as the canopy top measure. Daisey is close enough though.

Before I watered I put more ewc on the top of the soil and I mixed the top 2" of soil with it. All of them were dry enough to easily move the soil around.

On another note GSC is looking really pale. White actually, so it’s really good I raised the lights. I think the seedlings were getting light bleaching or I’m looking at molybdenum deficiency there😅

I doubt the color will change much before my next update.

Also immediately after I raised the lights the first time I saw the leaves of Zelda do whatever TF that is on top😅

I’m already seeing a decent growth response, so I definitely had the lights too close like a dumbass  I more than doubled them as I haven’t raised them in awhile

Definitely all looking well still.
The soil is drying at a decent rate and doesn’t look as bad as it did before. I wasn’t able to talk to my friend about soil yesterday. He passed out the second he sat on my chair and left first thing in the morning.

GSC is looking bad😅 I’ll probably end up having to pull her out TBH. They were a bagseed I accidentally dunked and just rolled with it after.
The white leaves with extremely faint green veins I’m trying to remember if it’s related to phosphorus or something else now.

Indigo is showing clear signs of a severe phosphorus deficiency down to the necrotic spots, red stems and veins, yellowing from the bottom up, and leaves yellowing from the tip inward.

I see a faint hint of it in Daisey also.

I’m thinking of trying to get a micro nutrient to add to the soil and hopefully try and fix the soil biology if it’s a pH issue with all the various issues they’re all showing in the same soil. That may be easier for me than figuring out how to raise pH in my water when it varies so much around 7-5 before nutrients and I don’t trust my pH meter tbh. Not with my distilled water always giving shit readings.

The calmag water I mixed up before smells good to use to me. Idk if it can go bad like the rest

Pics before lights out. Out rn, so I’ll take better ones at lights on. Per usual Zelda is very tired at the end of the day. The second Diana is harvested or whenever it’s recommended I’ll get it to 18/6

Fridge broke today, so that’s fun. I’ll be doing what I can to get one ASAP. Worst case I have to manage 200. For a fridge I will ask favors around my house and Friends without hesitation, but that’s mostly as I need my fridge and I can live without a water heater. At least that’s how my mother put it when I asked her what I should do about the fridge. I tried everything except for vacuuming the bottom vents. I’ll have to get the fridge out of it’s enclosed hole in the wall next to the stove and oven to gain access to that and that’s gonna be a problem. The fridge is wedged in the wall by the back door frame. My apartment is very small. 2 rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. No storage space though, so things hey really cramped sometimes and cleaning gets difficult when boxes swallow the room😅

For now I’m not freaking out. I had saved a 2.5" square of the fudge I made around Halloween for a rainy day. I had been macrodosing when days get to be more than I can mentally handle just to force my mind tranquil. Much better than the alternative where I freak out and pass out from stress induced narcolepsy. According to my mother when asked I did this my whole life. That and as hard as it is to believe because of all my issues I won’t go into here on bad days when I don’t have a handle on my emotions 250mg is my minimum THC dose, but I made these more than just recreationally strong. I made use of what I learned over the last 6 years and created a 2 stage edible that lasts at least 8 hours unless you digest food too fast like my digestive tract and then you’ll get the effect much faster. Because of my medical needs I haven’t really gotten to let go recreationally in a long time. Otherwise I’d use 25mg to have a fun few hours on good days which has been awhile since my lower back started hating me. Blah, blah, blah drama.

I already had some. Clearly  CBC, CBG, CBD, CBN, THC, and I made it no bake keeping decarbed status as stable as possible. It’s not as recreational as my friends like outside of the ones who have schizophrenia and other issues I won’t go into, bit let’s just say without weed their option is immune system therapy hoping his white blood cell count raises above 400.

I’m getting spilly, so I’ll cut this short. I’m burying anything I want to save in a waterproof bag I’ll be putting in the snow. Seeds, fertilizer that needs a cool area, and any food I have left that isn’t bad.

TL;DR
Murphy’s law. I swear I’m a Target for someone on the karmic scale😅

Pretty sure you are supposed to throw out any nutes you don’t use immediately. 90% of fridges are on rollers, it should just roll forward. Good luck with everything and sending good juju your way.

Edit- have you considered that the distilled water is causing some weird mineral deficiencies? Distilled water has zero minerals in it. I’m pretty sure you used tap water on your first grow and it wasn’t as bad as these plants. Maybe just try some dechlorinated tap water without messing with ph and see what happens. Soil should buffer the ph on it’s own.

It can’t get out without removing the doors to the fridge first. It’s not safely installed. 1" was all the space it had from the back of the wall. Not even 1/4 inch between the sides and the walls. I can’t even open the fridge door all the way😅
It’s not on wheels. It’s on pegs. The back doorframe was installed after the Fridge was put in. They didn’t plan on ever moving the fridge :unamused:

I mixed up the soil on the garlic pot with the dried mix of perlite and I’m looking at a much better structure, so I may have a hint at least how much soil to perlite is minimum now. I replanted the garlic into the fabric pot I folded over to a short wide pot just as something to keep the soil alive and work on transplants

I lifted the fabric pots and all of them are poking out of the bottom of the pot. Daisey included actually. Indigo has already grown the taproot down to the bottom and is now tracing the seam.

Daisey is actually showing brown roots on bottom from air pruning I’d guess as I haven’t seen overwatering symptoms on her really anytime recently. That’s definitely explaining a lot though
I need to work on my soil structure better.

Zelda is just weaving herself through the bottom now. New soil isn’t happening any time soon, so now my ultimatum is dealing with the situation or finding a way to get more soil I can use without issues. If the garlic pot works out I can try to work with what I have and cross my fingers. Preferably not, but I do what I can until I can’t anymore.

Anyways I’ve been waiting for my phone to charge before pics, so I’ll get to that now as more than anything Indigo just confuses me. Fast root growth taller than the plant, but small plant size😅 is that what phosphorus deficiency can do?
