I took these yesterday. Looking like probably another couple weeks or so? Fingers crossed the weather cooperates, dad said normally we’d have had a frost by now

looks done to me, I take them with 15-20% amber the rest milky with a few clear, that’s just personal preference. I’m taking my blueberry muffin at 30% amber all the rest milky I want it more sedative.

Should I maybe harvest the top? The lower an hidden buds could for sure use longer

@buckaroobonsai what do you think? When do you generally harvest outside?

With my first tent plants some of them ended up going too long because I misunderstood the trichomes

Took down the most mature looking pineapple express. I’m soooo glad I did a bud wash, so much yucky stuff on there

Once it dries some I’m going to cut off some of the excess fan leaves an wash it again

Be careful with that, You get some mold, and your hard work is going to sh*t. I wouldn’t do it at all. :peace_symbol:

@ColeLennon It’s dry here, I don’t fear mold as much. She says until I do mold one lol I washed my first harvest and it came out great. With all the smoke that was in the air and all the yuckies that blew into it I figured it was necessary

@buckaroobonsai I would say I’ve got that easily! I’ve only cut one down an am already outta space in my old tent lol Gunna have to rig something up in the spare bedroom

I wash, and no mold. And I’m in the northeast where humidity is higher.

The key point is to dry the WASH, then dry the buds as normal. For me that means putting the freshly washed buds in front of an oscillating fan for a few hours, then moving them to where they will properly dry. Leaving them in front of the fan would dry them too fast, so I leave them long enough that I can’t shake water off, then into the dry and cure tent.

I feel bad for you guys and gals with outdoor ladies and local forest fires. don’t have ash to deal with here, but dust and bugs still make for a dirty bucket. It was strange the first time I did it, but after that I won’t pull a harvest (even indoors gets dusty) without a wash after.

Usually seeds will become visible when they are done, sometimes even dropping, it takes about 40 days or so since pollination, remember to use that cannabis too! Seeded bud doesnt seem to stop the cannabinoid production. And one tip! For harvesting flower just take samples and test, its always personal preference/medicinal needs. Happy growing! And I hope the herb is helping your dad!
